Most recent reports are that a McDonald’s customer recognized his resemblance to the photos, tipped the cops, and THEY checked his ID at McDonald’s, then took him in for questioning

I think the id is likely the typical dumb speculation/misinformation you see when reports are flying out so fast. It’s now said an employee thought he looked like the guy and called it in. That makes much more sense.

The report was a McDonald’s employee thought he looked like the photos of the man they have been blasting 24/7 on the news. Cops were called and they came to check. They probably asked him for an ID and discovered the fake ones.
I don’t think McDonalds asked him for identification lol
It will be interesting if it is him, and if so, if they ever find out who he was working with. He was on a burner phone 15 minutes before the shooting. How in the world did he know that he would be walking outside the hotel without security at that early morning hour.

You’re making the mistake of putting this guy in the shoes of a rational person. Someone traveling all that way to kill the CEO of a company with political motivations isn’t going to likely be a rational person. He most probably used the same credit card at McDonald's as the card for the bus ticket out of Atlanta. Remember he has been on the run all these days and I bet he didn't realize that the credit card was flagged.
