A huge of number of current middle school to now late 30s people have latched onto conservative and family values in large part due to the influence of Charlie. Dude was a titan

Kobe Bryant excelled at playing a schoolyard game.

This is not the same.

Thank you. Just expressing what I felt. They are obviously not comparable directly. One played a game, the other changed hearts.

I was just a kid but this hits me like JFK. I cried because I saw my parents crying.

Leftists openly wallowing in his murder…that of a fellow American, just because they disagreed with his ideas and words. That is fundamentally broken.

The media and their allies in the Democrat party have worked their base into a lather where they actually believe conservatives are the second coming of the Third Reich. They need to held accountable.

Yep. But while tragic Kobe? Charlie Kirk should instead be compared to others such as MLK Jr which changed thought and direction. As per the latter, the Dems have long distorted MLK's goals and still try to connect them to LBJ's racist initiatives. Kobe? I suppose you are young as eff.

Knowing what we know now, MLK shouldn’t even be mentioned along side Charlie Kirk…

I’m shook, I won’t lie. I can’t get it out of my head.

However

quote:

our country is broken.

Our World is broken. Sinful people do evil things spurned on by Satan and his demons.

Here’s some encouragement though. He’s already lost the Battle. God has won, Jesus defeated death and Satan.

Charlie is in Paradise this very second, meeting all the Saints throughout the ages.

This is what I was just saying. This country needs Jesus in such a bad way.

I'm thinking this but I'm also a religious doomer, I guess. Somehow we need a Jesus with South Park level shaming. Alll the head-to-toe tattoo freaks and nose and eyebrow piercing freaks are beginning to make me fear for the day I have to go into a nursing home (in 2 years, JK, in 30 years). Most are atheist and have no understanding of the meaning of respect for elders. I know of a good young guy that refused to let his dad see his grandkid unless he got the jab, and had the same situation with a sister-in-law's son. WTF with these supposedly wise aholes? We have a lot to fix, and its not just political figures being assassinated and retards celebrating. This is the tip of the iceberg. This now martyrised character, who I've always appreciated, but never really followed, only states the borader weakness of our youth movement. I hope some disciples of his vision are ready to step forward and carry his vision, because he was one of a kind. Salute to our latest fallen hero, Charlie Kirk, peace be with you brother!

I believe this is our generation's JFK and MLK. This has really impacted me today. I've watched a lot of Charlie and found him respectful to the other side even though he disagreed with them and he even made some crossover. It seems me to no end that his voice has been silenced and makes me a firm believer that others have to speak up in his absence. His impact won't be forgotten and we move on from this in a week like I saw a poster earlier that say. This is a real turning point, if you will, for the right.

There is something terribly wrong. The left has become this weird hate cult. Charlie Kirk isnt a politician, nor does he wield any political power. He was a dude that made youtube videos debating college students. I just dont get it. Democrats hated Rush in the 90s and 00s but he was never in any danger of getting assassinated.

It is NOT both sides. Its one side that has been ultra radicalized to view simple policy disagreements as some evil that must be eradicated

Kobey unfortunately died in an accident. This is more on par with MLK or JFK. It’s our generations dark assassination.

Yes it is... Nothing... and I mean nothing short of another World War or Alien invasion will ever bring us back together again.

This has hit me hard too... It is like the last straw...

Me too. I’m more shook up than I could have ever imagined I would be about Kirk’s passing. I’ve been critical of some of his statements before, but the idea that someone who would go out and peacefully debate anyone on any topic anywhere, and then get murdered for it, has really fricked me up today.

Simply, he was effective. Nothing more or nothing less, he was effective and the left couldn’t handle that. Damn shame.

I generally shrug off celebrity deaths with John Prine being the one notable exception. I cried when JP died and I'm really not a crier. (If you don't know who he was log the frick off here and listen to some John Prine immediately.) I was 7 when Elvis died but I remember a lot of people being devastated.

But this does feel different. I feel terrible for his wife and baby girls but even more so for the country. This is very, very bad following right on the animal in NC. The right has been patient and long-suffering but that won't last forever. I don't say that gleefully or excitedly . I don't want it. I have a fricking tee time Saturday.

I've had concealed carry for 15 years or so and never carried on my person. Like, never as in not once except to my truck and back. But I guess I start tomorrow. I'll be signing my wife and steps up for classes tomorrow, too.
