There was a tranny working in the SLC airport when we were flying out. He/She/It was working the bagel place and we needed coffee. The wife and I debated whether it was a man or woman when in line finally agreeing on a man dressed as a woman. Despite all I could do, the Alabama in me addressed he/she/it as sir when they spoke. Appearance said woman, but the baritone said man. Couldn't help it.
