You don't understand.

With the exception of Reagan and Newt, "establishment" Republicans have been more than happy to be in the minority.

They hate governing.

They would rather just whine and bitch from the sidelines, but be patted on the head and lauded by the DC press corps because they are harmless.

They can espouse all of the things that they "would do" without ever actually having to do them, all the while profiting from the status quo.

Trump is actually fighting, and doing the things that these limp dicks have been talking about for decades, and they hate it. He's making them work. He's making them actually have to defend their ideas in a real sense (perfect example - Obamacare repeal).

Neither will be rewarded if they did this. Not by the Democrats and certainly not by any Republicans

Graham and Scott are not voting to remove the President. They wouldn't just lose their jobs, they would have to move out of South Carolina.

This is because they actually have something to complain about when they're the minority party.

"Give use the House and we'll repeal Obamacare (they won the House, but did nothing). Give us the Senate and we'll repeal Obamacare (they won the Senate, but did nothing) Give us the presidency and we'll repeal Obamacare (they won the presidency, but John McCain went all 'mavericky" and threw a wrench in to the works)"

There is absolutely no reason why anybody should believe anything that comes from any E-Republican's mouth.

Media adoration. That's all they crave and they don't care what they have to do to get this.

Paul Ryan's wife is a lobbyist and they moved to Maryland but I doubt this is outright true. No doubt they want Pence, no doubt this is their last pathetic shot, but Trump won't be impeached, nor removed.

To get an idea of the power trip in a bubble DC is read Roll Call. This trash is what they publish as opinion. Trump is a racist because he used the term "Lynching".

With ‘lynching’ comment, Trump retreats to his racist comfort zone

Much of the democratic party has gone full radical left and the BCC is out of control with their racist garbage. They live in a bubble. They have a lot of progressive dems all riled up as if Trump is a criminal. Someone tear their beads of pearl clutching-it is real old.

Trump could end all of this and release everything. He is probably told he can't because of national security but these people admonish national security in racial cultural divide daily. Even if it goes to Obama. It all needs to come out or it will boil over with pus and cancer on America.

What's happening in the Senate right now?

People like Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are shopping around the idea that it's time to impeach Trump and bring in Mike Pence as President.

They need about 10 more votes to get it done.

Anybody else getting enraged?

frick these assholes. If they do that I hope they all like being voted out of office. American people will never forgive them.

What about Manchin in WV? I know he is a dem but he swing both ways and I feel the people of West Virginia would not be too happy with him voting to impeach.

At this moment, if there is a bigger bitch in the Republican party than Romney, I don't know who it is? What the frick is his problem? Utah voters need to kick him square in the nuts and recall his arse. Utes have to be embarrassed by Romney's constant clashing with Trump's agenda.

The largest mass lynching in the United States was in New Orleans...against 11 Italians. There were also four Italians lynched in Hahnville, and five more in St. Joseph, LA. Let's not mention folks accused, but not convicted of cattle rustling and horse theft, who were summarily executed.

You believe that but the problem is they don't necessarily agree.

These same people thought Trump had no chance in 2016 and they likely think he has little chance in 2020.

They likely believe they can push Trump off cliff but allow people like Cruz and Rubio to still support Trump in the trial.

Then they can run Pence, Cruz and Rubio in a primary and still likely defeat someone like Warren.

They believe if Trump runs and loses all is lost so they might as well dump Trump.

That's the problem. What they believe not what you believe.

They wouldn't realize they were wrong until Nov 2020. Trump would be long gone by then.

Trumps fate truly is in the hands of 10 people who are almost always wrong and don't like Trump.

That's worrisome to say the least.

Trump needs to stop focusing on the Democrats. They are going to do whatever they want.

But Dems can't touch Trump without the help of Republicans.

All of.his efforts need to be focused on Republicans in the Senate.

Pubs may or may not like to be the party in power, but one thing they absolutely love is contributions.

And money has been pouring into the Trump campaign and the RNC. Plus, Trump's has record high party popularity.

It is way more than 10. Asides from Mittens, who should be forced out of the GOP if votes to impeach, it is way more than 10.

There won't be an impeachment. In an impeachment Trump will be allowed to call witnesses. Nancy knows that the Biden's will be a disaster.
She is trying to fatally injury Trump for the 2020 election or frustrate him not to seek office
She doesn't want Pence in office with Barr as AG.

Just play devil's advocate.

What's Romney's case?

He says, "looks it's all BS but we have a chance to move on without Trump. No more chaos, no more being asked about every tweet and remark. No more defending him.

By November the country will have Trump fatigue and we risk losing to someone like Warren.

If we remove the President in January it will be a shite storm but we can weather it. Pence can move on with Trump's message. It gives us at least as good a chance as Trump has maybe better."

I can see these morons falling for something like this easily.

Trump needs to be shoring his support in Senate.
