That was fine before they tried to kill him twice. Part of the reason i voted for Trump was for the reckoning.

Trump proved the court of public opinion is more important than actual proceeding and judgements that goes on in a court house.
All team Biden has to do is have Joe go out there without a script and the nation is going to see he doesn't know what is going on even more than he did during the debate. That doesn't cost much.
He doesn't deserve mercy but there are a lot of people out there that don't think some guy who has issues remembering anything needs to be up on the witness stand. Going to court will come across as beating up a toddler to some.
