Would this be considered a panican take? I’m still learning the appropriate use of the term.

Rand Paul was on Kudlow a couple of weeks after the BBB passed and he said he thought Trump would win most of his lawsuits dealing with the border and immigration and cutting the Federal workforce but would lose on tariffs.
Kudlow moved to another topic and Paul never got to explain his reasoning.
Will agree the markets will take a temporary hit until you get some permanent resolution.

Why doesn’t the ruling party in Congress get together and pass the tariffs legally?

Because if everything is made in China, such as medication, when they cut us off, we will be in deep doo doo.
Tariffs level the playing field so that US based companies can compete in the production process, therefore, we manufacture our own shite.
It's really that simple.

Why doesn't Congress do anything? They are worthless.

I guess I’m kinda dumb. How does imposing tariffs on imports that are a threat to national security help protect national security if the imports still come in?
Yes, you are dumb.
The tariffs foster a domestic producer to make the product. You then have domestic production. That’s not the same as saying you can never buy a foreign made product. I understand you are slow though.

Breaking news: Judiciary has zero standing on the enumerated powers of the branches of government.
Are you saying Congress does not have the authority to grant the executive branch the ability to exercise some of their enumerated powers?

Cool. Read the constitution or open a book, bro.

Better that than the ignorant, racist rednecks running the country right now.
The real estate magnate from NYC is a redneck?

Oh lord. Another "national emergency" based on fake "national security" concerns.
National security is infrastructure, to quote the DEMs.
If the dimtards manage to derail tariffs at this point we will have a calamity on our hands.

KBJ, Sotomayor and Kagan are a rubber stamp NO. Roberts and ACB will decide the fate of tariffs.

I agree, without the “kinda” part.

It gives domestic industries, like steel, time to spool up and on equal footing with foreign manufacturers who utilize slave labor like conditions to produce a lower cost product.

You mean the least important part of the economy?
The stock market is arguably well overvalued anyway

But with some specific industries it can take decades

So?
If it’s industries important to national security, we should get started now rather than later.
Imagine a key industry for national security and relying on Chyna for it. Do you think the Chynese are going to ship us what’s needed to fight them if we go to war? No, they’ll cut it off and kill us.

It won't happen. The SC will hear this nonsense (once again) this week. They'll have to finally put their feet down and say "stop, enough of the nonsense!" Or The Trump administration will have to start openly ignoring this BS.
But the SC will act accordingly this week.

That’s what I thought. You’re just another run of the mill uneducated liberal that throws out “racist” when you aren’t smart enough to make an actual point. Which is often.

All one has to do is read this board to see the racism. Yourself included.
You say uneducated when it’s your party that is riddled with the uneducated, ignorant racists.
