While he may be right in some respects wrt highly skilled labor, he needs to marry this up with cleaning up the process. They need to eliminate the ability for offshore immigration shops from swamping the employee hiring system.

Personally in oil & gas, I’ve seen quite a bit of successful talent come from folks originally from places like South/Central America and Nigeria. Some who fled Venezuela under Chavez and greatly appreciate the United States and the ability to put their technical skills to use here and succeed. They also seem to understand much better than the average American the dangers of open borders with fentanyl and shite coming across into our communities.
