I don’t think a lot of people understand just how strained Russia’s economy is right now.

Edit- Especially with Ukraine taking out a sizeable chunk of their refining capacity on top of their loss of materiel.

The violation of NATO airspace by Russia appears to be a huge mistake. Gen Keane was on Fox and said Trump had to respond and that he likely would. And here we are.

This. Poland knows its history well and has been rearming for the past three years. Left and Right in that country aren't going to stand for this crap, and the Polish ambassador said one of the most gangster things said in diplomatic circles in a while:

"If another missile or aircraft enters our space without permission, deliberately or by mistake, and gets shot down and the wreckage falls on NATO territory, please don't come here to whine about it," Sikorski said. "You have been warned."

If the EU and NATO are buying the weapons who cares? Just don’t put it on the taxpayers back like sleepy Joe. The Biden administration was some of the dumbest, evil MF’ers I’ve ever seen. I’m glad Trump has realized this isn’t something that can be fixed right now. If they want to fight, let them fight.

We mostly fund NATO. Not sure why you think we are not paying for it

Russia is just fighting at its own pace. Not Trump or NATO's pace. They will just slowly grind Ukraine down. It's a combination of war and police action. Not Shock and Awe or total annihilation like Israel is doing to Gaza. Putin actually wants to work with Ukrainian people they are annexed into Russia. He just needs this region as a buffer between NATO and Russia and access to the Black Sea.

I can only imagine your motion sickness from Trump jerking you around

So glad I dropped off the Trump Train when he made fun of the
guy with cerebral Palsy in 2016.

Is this war still going on?
Trump gave Putin 48 hours a couple of months ago. Then he gave Putin another 48 hours “or else” a month ago.

Here is the Russian state news media warning of a recession a month ago:

If their own state run news media is warning of problems, you know things are bad.

Sounds like he’s hopped up on Tylenol.

What ever happened to the Russia final deadline?

Why does Russia "need" a buffer? No one has been looking for lebensraum at Russia's expense for a long time now.

He cares about the rare earth elements that are found in Ukraine. All of us should to be honest with you. If it wasn't for that and their agricultural production Ukraine would just be a place on a map with no significant value to the world.

This doesn't signal support for Ukraine, but it does signal a break-up with Russia, and that is major progress.
