I love all these posts that act as if this board is causing Trump's actions, so people here deserve a Dem takeover.
This board takes the stance of "but muh 2016 wasn't predicted correctly" and washes their hands. I don't see any mobilization on any level of Trump voters to keep this shite from happening.

At this point, why should he give a flying frick?

He took an oath of office to serve this country. That doesn't equate to folding like a lawn chair when times get tough. It's an election year and we have some uncharted territory here with the COVID stuff. Did he expect it to be easy?

We supposed to posse up? I mean, we're each allowed a single vote, and it can't be cast until November. It's a little soon to be predrinking isn't it?

The blame was supposed to only go to the governors, but it's mostly not working out like that as there's plenty of blame to go around.

Trump doesn't take Biden seriously. It's easy to understand why. If Trump has any chance he has to wean himself off the Kushners bad advice.

Maybe. What are you actually doing other than pretending it's all going great?

He should have kept having/attending the CV press conference at lest weekly or twice a week.

Wait.

What happened to the silent majority that's going to bring on a Republican landslide in November?

how do you expect him to do this when you just said,

the media are choosing to frame it dishonestly

It doesn't matter what he says or what he does, they will frame it negatively.

Anything that happens from here, you should blame it on Trump himself

You realize that people who have been in office for 40 years have been blaming Trump since day 1.

He did daily briefings and people bitched. Why would get do it again? I mean the fricking media decided not to air it anymore.

What am I doing? What should I be doing? Is there something else to do other than going to vote and perhaps bumping a few others that I think may need the reminder to do so as well (which aren't many). Give a little dough for the cause.

Not real sure what else there is. Do you have any suggestions?

bullshite. He could handpick a non-Fauci scientist of repute to calmly lay out the data on a daily basis instead of himself playing into the terrible rhetoric.

Stop apologizing for him like he's some fricking weakling. He's THE POTUS.

Because they were terrible. He seems literally incapable of spreading a calm, accurate message. At the very least, he could have done better than allowing two epidemiologists to spew unchecked.

How easy would it be to put out a daily message summarizing the good news

You mean like the daily briefings he was doing before when fake news was hell bent on only asking him gotcha questions and towards the end not covering the briefings at all ? You simpletons have short attention spans . Anyways , have a down vote .

Not to mention half the country hated Obama and he easily won both elections

Why does it matter that half the country hates Trump?

The thing is if Trump were to lose the election he still has a life to return to. Doubt the same can be said of the OP

I would argue he cares TOO much about re-election and this has led to an attitude of not wanting to rock the boat too much with potential action against rioters and such.
