By people that are still trying to fight by the old rules of engagement. Rules that they set themselves.

It's a whole new ballgame with this guy. They can adapt or be annihilated.

Do you not get that he KNOWS they are not going to report him more positively.

They have NO LEVERAGE against him.

The old maxim was that you don't go to battle with someone who buys ink by the barrel; however, with modern social media, it's a fight he could actually win (and certainly fight to a stalemate).

Rex Jr will never get it but you are right...the press was all in for Obama had sold what was left of their "cred" to Hillary for basically Obamas third term and now they are paying the price...

Trump knows they have no cred left, and when he calls them out on their bias, which they can not deny, yet they still try to play the victim card, and attack Trump even more, they are actually playing right into Trumps hand and proving Trump correct each time..,

Well, yea. He just took a shite on the people saying that. They will not focus on any of the content, only on the sideshow. I blame Trump for that in part, which is why I wish he would tone it down, but you're getting the thoughts of people who have every reason (and to some extent, right) to call it the worst PC ever.

Actually I'm discussing this with unbiased people that I know. I haven't looked at a single news article about it yet.

Of course the networks he lambasted are going to call it a terrible PC that PC was not meant for them

This I totally agree with. Trump knows exactly how his base thinks, what they want to hear and he gives it right to them. That takes a type of keen awareness to deliver. That's what won him the election and the left needs to begin to understand that.

quote:

You guys are so retarded to think that was bad

It's not a matter of being "retarded." A lot of people just don't want a president that behaves the way he does. Is that reasonable to you?

Neither side wants to understand the other, that's the big problem. You can't tell people what to think anymore than they can tell you.

quote:

Geez people pull your head out of your arse and realize what just happened.

Right, if "they" just saw things the way you do, everything would be better off. Again, this is part of the problem. We don't have to all see things the same way to get along.

I'm glad your not butt hurt. I'm even more relived that you are therefore not enjoying butt hurt.

And I agree that the CBC is butt hurt.

quote:

Are you insinuating that she doesn't? She's a REPORTER. You really think she has never reported on nor talked to a a member of the CBC? Really? She's in the PRESIDENTIAL PRESS POOL. She's not some right out of college first year reporter. She absolutely knows members of the CBC and most likely talks to some of them on a regular basis.

I interpreted this to mean that either Trump a) was insulting her by implying her ignorance or inexperienced or b) he was ignorant of her abilities as an adult and reporter. Neither are true, and I assumed you made up insults were none exist. He said they won't meet me so help set it up. She said no, and he pushed her to set the meeting up by asking "you know them right?"

If I am wrong please correct me, and I will apologize.

And the American people who voted for President Trump know that the presstitutes are lying once again.

It's just absurd to see the blind following he gets. Like TRUMP HIMSELF said he "could shoot someone in broad daylight and the people will still support and defend" him. It's true.

Meh, Trump supporters know he was just joking about our loyalty to him but the Trump haters like you try to convince yourself and the rest of the ignorant masses that he is being serious and that it is true.

frick the MSM and frick you!

We've got almost 4 more years to straighten out the mess that President Trump inherited and too bad if the MSM doesn't like that they are part of the mess that needs to be straightened out.

Big difference between Trump and BHO's media war:
Trump holds regular Q&As with CNN, BBC, and the rest and smashes them for public education and enjoyment.
BHO tried to banish Fox.

Mmcgrath was insinuating trump is racist for assuming that a black reporter knows members of the CBC.

I responded to the shitstain that she absolutely has to know members of the CBC. She's a veteran reporter in the presidential press pool and has had to have come in contact with members of the CBC and probably meets with them quite often.

so to assume (as mmcgrath did) that trump was simply stating she should know the CBC bc she is black, is ironically racist.

It seems we are on the same page, just misinterpreted each other

I loved when President Trump reminded them that CNN gave Hillary the questions before the debate and none of them made a squeak about it.
Hillary called out in a Presidential Press Conference for cheating in collusion with CNN and then NOT turning in CNN or herself, or disavow the question due to prior knowledge.

When will the disingenuous press understand that they failed massively to call out Clinton and CNN over those incidents? It was a brief moment of, "Oh, that's not cool." But the follow-up investigation just disappeared, never to be spoken of again.

Or c) President Trump recognized it was a leading question meant to imply that President Trump is such a rascist that he refuses to meet with the CBC so he turned the question around and put her on the spot.

Since she is so concerned about the CBC being included in any discussions about how to fix the inner cities problems, President Trump asked her to help him meet with the CBC.

Her response showed that she was just asking the question in an attempt to expose President Trump as a racist not to help him in his legitimate desire to meet with black leaders including the CBC in order to solve some of the problems in the inner cities.

First, I wasn't talking about any media outlets' "reviews." Merely from friends/colleagues that I talked to about it. So you can throw out the whole "fake news" angle.

You're just going off of what Trump says, which is exactly what you claim "the left" does with the "fake media." You are no better than what you protest.

Very rational. When in doubt or lack of facts/substance to argue... just say frick you.

Yeah he really annihilated them. CNN has already put out very positive reviews of his press conference.

Trump is nothing more than a clown. He's in way over his head . The fact that he said the White House is running like a fine tuned machine is completely laughable.

Then he gets called out on another blatant lie and tries to blame it on someone else . Lmao

It was a great moment for the public IMO. WCA I know we do not agree politically. But a blueprint was just set forth how to take the message away from a middleman and bring it to the consumer. For all of Trump's shortcomings, which there are some. He is a communicator and he can deliver a message. He is letting you decide if you like the message, not allowing others to decipher what they think the message is.

The first warning shot was fired with Skype during Daily Briefings. Now if he does this about once a month, it changes everything about politics as we know it.

The internet and social media has made us all experts when in reality we are nothing but fools (myself more so than anyone). I think that with this type of PC and message delivering he is going to bring a real debate not a fake news/media debate about some issues.
