This is ridiculous. You give Defense another 50% and I guarantee you we are at war with someone in less than 12 months.

The current military budget (and overall budget) is probably 50 percent fraud, waste and corruption.
Get a handle on that and we don't need to increase it.

Well the national defense is the most important thing any country can provide its citizens.
Deport all illegals, every single one of them
End all forms of welfare.
End all foreign aid
End all money sent to NGO's
Spend tax dollars on military, roads, bridges, airports and ports. Lower taxes and let citizens keep more of their paychecks.

If we spend 1.5 trillion but pillage 10 trillion than it's a sound investment.

All these pieces coming together make me think there is going to be a large scale conflict soon. It also isn't clear to me how the sides will look.

I don’t agree with the 50%. If we were to stop all of the waste in government by 50% we would have way more than enough to spend on defense or whatever.

Still, we don't need to spend 1.5 Trillion dollars, that's utter bullshite. Have DOGE actually audit the Pentagon & Defense contractors and I bet you'll find we don't even need to be spending 1 Trillion to maintain current operations while replenishing diminished ammunition stocks.

I think a lot of it is to replace the weapons we have used and given to Ukraine.
