Well, Trump just said most goods from Mexico will be exempt from tariffs for one month. Tariffs are a stupid idea, looks like he finally realizing that. I'd bet that he ends the Canadian tariffs late Friday next week.

I understand that you are used to having a bumbling retard and an empty suit as President but negotiations take time and sometimes it takes negative actions to achieve positive outcomes. However, when you have the same voting principles as a child then understanding negotiations are probably too complicated

The economy is screwed anyway. It has been living on government jobs and huge deficit spending.
More people are living paycheck to paycheck to paycheck, more people have 2 jobs than ever, credit card debt is at records because people are using them to pay living expenses, workforce participation rate is trash.
Trump is going to force the FED to cut more than was projected. A small recession isn’t a big deal and will likely occur partly because the government is in a hiring freeze, cutting jobs and DOGE is making huge cuts. The economy will be stronger in 9-12 months. Better to be bad now than right before midterms.
