How rich! Anyone who called out Biden for his mental deficiency was shouted down as some conspirator. It was like "Weekend at Bernie's" and some people refused to acknowledge it,

Can you tell me how the Smoot-Hawley tariffs fixed the economy in the long term during the Great Depression?

Only two options?

How about an option where Trump wins and doesn't declare economic warfare with every single country in the world in one week?

Do you think the Great Depression started right when the stock market crashed in 1929 genius? Trump is leading us there.

These idiots offer.no solution beyond looking at individual goods to tariff which is insane. Our country can no longer afford to be a service economy. We can’t rely on other countries to provide most things we need. It’s dumb at best and a National security issue at worst. Let the fickle stock market traders do what they do while the rest of us capable folks find a way to thrive.

The discrepancy in uneven tariffs could and should have been done quietly and incrementally behind the scenes, say starting with 10% across the board.

The problem is with presidential term limits and midterms every 2 years, you don’t have time for this. Either go hard now and let things start to improve before the next election or 1. get nothing done 2. Cause short term damage and not have time for it rebound before an election cycle.

This is ripping off the bandaid quickly

No, but it's becoming very clear we may not get a Vance presidency if economic instability continues, and the price increases from tariffs haven't even materialized yet.

Damn dude, please tell me you’re joking?

LOL based on what (beside retarded speculation and fear porn)?

We are down 3% and people are acting like it's a crash. Get a grip on yourself.

If the democrats are unable to slow or stop Trumps policies on the border and with Tariffs through forum shopping with liberal judges we will continue to win as a nation. Remember when Biden said Congress would have to pass a law regarding the border and were upset when Trump stopped the law. That law would have allowed more immigrants to come across our border than are presently coming across without such a law. So where is the failure except with the prior administration but liberals were ranting then as they are now about Tariffs. The Tariffs will absolutely put our country in such a better position. Companies are already coming to America within a week of the announcement. Vietnam has agreed to no Tariffs. Is this a win in the democrats minds, No, simply because they hate Trump. Like Reagan, history will reflect what an awesome President he is and what a disaster Biden was.

For Christ’s sake which is it? Are we the best economy in the world and will crush our enemies, or are we a hopelessly weak, overrun, sold out house of cards?

I regret nothing but I’m disgusted today.

The company I work for is European owned. They have made some knee jerk reactions that are directly affecting me.

I don’t blame trump for this but my employer specifically. Guess I’ll start job hunting.

Hell, no! I don't regret my vote. We are currently living in the "Good olde days.". Kamala would have brought more inflation, illegals, fentanyl, wars across the world, and none of 700 billion in investments from companies. The future is looking brighter than ever. Damn with the doomers.
