I don't know why I watch debates. I suppose a primary debate is more useful but I've never changed my mind in a Republican vs Democrat matchup due to a debate.

Yep. He won't risk that exposure again.
I know it won’t happen , but if Biden refuses to show up for another debate Trump should show up and it just be a one man show with nobody to retort him. No ... it was more like a one on one debate between trump and Trump. He would handle something well and lose focus... which is what we expected from Biden... and totally missed opportunities.

Trump missed some opportunities, which is so disappointing bc he really is a good President. He is fearless and says shite that needs to be said. He just doesn’t always say it at the right time.
You couldn’t hear what either of them were saying and it changed no minds.
But. Don’t despair. If anything it will depress turnout for people who are not excited about either candidate. Biden has no base to speak of, and he’s basically run away from the part of his party with the energy.
Trump’s supporters and people who hate leftists will turnout. Biden’s voters have no reason to show up.

I was hoping for much more. Can’t lie I’m very disappointed with Trump. I watched and read along up to pg 45 and then had to turn it off and read the end here. Doesn’t sound like Trump improved. He has so much in his favor.

I do think Trump got Biden to waffle on some “manifesto” ideas. This won’t make Bernie and the squad happy.
It’s possible he will lose some of the far left vote. They won’t vote for Trump, they will just stay home.

Wallace was bullshite for that taxes question to Trump. That is so low brow bullshite. The story is unsubstantiated and a crime was committed for them to even have the information. Until it was confirmed by Trump it should have been off limits. The fact the Wallace took what the NYT said a gospel is BS.

Trump really had no chance this time, maybe next time to position himself as peace maker and Biden as the neocon who supported the Iraq war. 3 Nobel peace prize nominations is no small thing. He needs to crow about that.
Race:
Trump did not respond to Biden's Charlotte lie enough. Trump did distinguish between the neo Nazi types and those just fighting removing a statue and the dems keep lying about that.

The best response to that issue is to ask why the democrats are so keen on mail in voting. It's because they know it helps them. It should not help either candidate.
