Uh, I think you just agreed with me. We have no point in being involved in Ukraine nor any of the aforementioned countries.
No sir. I agree with you that we have to be selective. We clearly do not agree on where to draw the line.

How
If the US tells Ukraine thet have 4 hours to agree to a compromise and peace otherwise we're not going to sent more money or weapons, Ukraine would immediately capitulate. They would have no logical choice.
And it was always going to be that end result anyways.

This situation in Ukraine is getting serious. Very serious. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has come right out and stated he's ready to use the nukes.
That does not paint an accurate picture of what Lukashenko said, which was:
"God forbid I have to make a decision to use those weapons today, but there would be no hesitation if we face an aggression"
The last phrase is important.
The concern is based on Russia actually transferring weapons to them, I think there is a less than 50% chance this has or will happen. Putin did the nuclear brinksmanship dance with nuclear weapons for several months until he had a conversation with China and then he shut that down. The implication was they told him to knock it off. By transferring tac nukes to Belerus either real or just lipservice he allowed his lap dog Lukashenko to continue the nuclear yapping. I do not think Putin is dumb enough to hand over even tac nukes to Beleraus given Lukashenko's tenuous hold on power whether threatened by age, health or the democratic rumblings.

Why? It’s not my homeland.
That's kind of the same way I feel about my money going to Ukraine.

And are you willing to hand over Crimea and the border regions permanently to Russia? And isolating Ukraine from the rest of Europe.
The thing that most people miss in this discussion, regardles of their position on the issue:
The 1990-2020 global map has no divine or otherwise right to be considered the defining map of the world. That includes the boundaries of Ukraine, Crimea, Russia, etc...
Consider that Ukraine has, over time, been allied or united with Poland and Lithuania, part of Russia, once was a hegemonous empire of its own that possessed Russia, that Crimea has been a political football possessed by many entities looking for a strategic port...
It's pretty arrogant of us to assume this map is correct when for the vast majority of the past the map did not look like this.
I'm not advocating for or against Ukraine or Russia here, but I'm tired of being involved in someone else's war.
