Hell if the way it should be is everyone else should butt out even if one country is forcefully taking over another country, then I’d like to see the U.S. seize Canada, once Trump is President again. I say Trump because no doubt he’s the best man for the job.

If Ukraine citizens want to join nato, why the frick should Russia have a say?

And this in turn begs the question: why are U.S. citizens expected to subsidize NATO in perpetuity?

What the heck, pal? Who warranted the insults?

I’ll never understand why people come in here with such baked-in and unprovoked hostility.

Some people can't handle a hypothesis that clashes with their worldview.

How would the Americans feel if the Chinese parked troops and missiles etc in Cuba or Canada. They do have a gripe. But if I’m correct they also want the Russian ethnic territory, that reminds me of a guy in late 30’s as well

Unfortunately, I think Canada could kick the shite out of us at this particular moment in time.

Now do Mexico and Russia.

Russia and the US were enemies back in the Cuban Missile Crisis days. Different story today.

When did we put nuclear weapons in Ukraine? Neither Ukraine nor NATO pose any real risk or threat to Russia.

You are completely missing the point of the question.

If Russia and Mexico were allies today, and Russia stationed troops there, would you be OK with that?

Nukes are not the only way to pose a threat. I just used it as an illustration.

As for it not being a threat, Russians have centuries of history that show them to be highly defensive of invasion threats. Putting trips from their primary opposition all along their border is going to be an irritant.

Yes, I would. Would you be upset if a four year old child made threatening moves toward you? I don’t think you understand the assymetry between the US and Russia today. It is like an adult and a four year old child. Outside of nukes and ballet, Russia is not a first world nation.
