You may have missed it so I direct you and all readers to my topic history. Good night
So like I referenced earlier, your entire view of the situation is biased because you’re part of the diaspora. You lack objectivity.

The right move is to let Pahlavi come in
I doubt the guy has any real support. He hasn't lived in Iran since he was a child. He doesn't have an authentic accent. He doesn't have a political organization. I doubt most Iranians even know who he is.
This is where we suck. Picking leaders. Let's let someone emerge from the chaos.

The Shah of Iran, in one of his last interviews, warns against attempting to view Radical Islamists through a western lens:
“Everybody’s trying to say, well let’s try to understand these people who are massacring the people they don’t like just like flies…there’s a tendency, especially in the most liberal circles: ‘Oh, Let’s try to understand them. Let’s establish a dialogue and negotiate with them.'”

I’m not being a douche, cause I like your posts, but they’ve been chanting his name by the Millions the last two weeks.

This is the cardiac arrest moment for the regime.
Bank Sepah going down is a direct blow to the IRGC’s operational lifeline. Sepah is not just large, it is the core military liquidity node. If it fails, the state can no longer pay, command, or deploy without intermediaries or external help.
Five banks collapsing simultaneously means the central bank has lost control of the interbank spine. The last tool they have is printing, and they’re using it openly. That means foreign reserves are depleted or inaccessible, and capital flight is terminal.
This now enters irreversible cascade territory:
•Military wages at risk ? loyalty decay begins
•Currency hyperinflation ? mass cash withdrawal + hoarding
•Interbank seizure ? trust collapse across private sector
•Public unrest ? fuel for regime fracture
•External actors watching ? ignition risk spikes
Iran’s internal structure is no longer just weak. It is liquefying.
A strike now becomes a decision, not a necessity. The regime is already unraveling from within. All external pressure now compounds the probability of spontaneous collapse.
This is a death spiral with a countdown.

I thought Iranians hated this guy. They called his father a puppet of the west (which he was) and ran him out of country.
Not really, I was working with Iranians in the late 70's. It was Russian back Communists with Islamists coup supported by UK and France along with Jimmah Carter. Khomeini wasn't even Iranian, but Indian born. The Shah left at the encouragement of the peanut farmer because he thought that the Ayatollah was a nice guy. UK and France wanted to make deals with the new regime which was like playing chess with monkeys. Anglo Iranian Oil Company, a subsidiary of Burmah Oil, later took the name of a subsidiary, BP, was kicked out by the Shah and Americans welcomed with open arms.
Iranians hate Democrats as a whole.

Who cares, outside of Palestinian and Cuban hijacking airlines, there was little terrorism before the Mullahs were flown in from Neufchateau France to take over.

Please enlighten me. Why is Iran different?
Iran had a constitutional monarchy form of government for 100 years, Those you compare it to, never even sniffed anything other than tribal leaders or some sort of king only without any parliament/legislature.

Iran: U.S. citizens should leave Iran immediately. If it is safe to do so, consider exiting Iran via land borders to Turkey or Armenia. Protests across Iran continue to intensify. Security measures have been heightened, roads have been blocked, public transportation is disrupted, and the internet has been blocked or restricted. The Iranian government has restricted access to mobile networks, landline phones, and the national internet. Airlines continue to limit or cancel flights to and from Iran, and some have completely suspended their services.
