Good question. Looks like the mullahs were offered a deal....relinquish power, save your families and move to Russia or some other Muslim shithole...or stay and we will end your bloodline within 6 hours.
"Do you see these pictures of the bunkers and other hidey holes of where your family members are stashed? Here are the weapons we will use...and yes, yes...they will be vaporized ".
What would you like to do?

I don't trust much of anything comiing out either, but it's all we have.
I can see a few of the high ranking Mullahs packing their families and heading out. I think a big issue is going to be the handling of the IRGC and payback for whoever has been doing the shooting and killing. People aren't going to let them roam around freely. Need to let them clean up those murders. I suspect the killing will continue one way or another. Don't like this at all.

It's hard to back Trump but I have to have faith he is doing the right thing. He obviously has a frick ton more Intel than any of us have. I really, really do not believe he would hang them out to dry, and saying help is on the way, whether it actually is or not, is incentive for the Persians to keep going. Without it they well may have stopped long ago

Yes. 50 years ago.
Believing they can or will just time warp back to that without violent internal conflict is hilarious.

Did we get Iran to expose most if not all of its defensive measures last night ahead of the arrival of a carrier task force?

This is why you put receivers in motion. You want to see if the defense is in man to man or zone. Then you check down if necessary.
Something is up, y’all. We have no idea. Trump has not abandoned the brave people in the streets.

I don't know, The Pentagon hasn't returned my calls, dang it.
Kind of seems like that was the intent of all the talk up. Seems to me Trump may be buying time to get assets in place, and wait for the inevitable continuation of protestor killings.

He had plenty of time. Bad miscalculation by his military not being ready.

My thoughts exactly. The IRGC is not poised to fall but is actually falling. So the only hope the IRGC has is for Trump to stop all of the killing and allow them to recover control.
If Trump fricks this up then this will be his biggest blunder ever and will frick the world over big time.
So like you I think Trump is trying to save lives which will give us time to prepare everything they want to accomplish. The IRGC must kill citizens to squash the uprising. So when executions start of shooting in the street happens and we are ready to strike, we will strike.

I hope that President Trump is just mind fricking the mullahs and doesn't actually believe that any deal will stick. This is the best chance we have to bring their regime down and we need to seize the opportunity.
If the deal is, "get out now or hellfire will rain down upon you," I wonder if the closing of Iranian airspace last night for a few hours was to allow the leadership to haul arse. Not an ideal situation in my opinion, but if gives Iran the chance to be free and end the killings I guess I'd accept it.
I'd rather have all of these Islamic radicals blown to hell, though.

I'm afraid we got punked by China and Russia. Hope that I'm way off but it just feels that way.

It took months to get ready for the Venezuela raid, to get all assets in position and ready to go.

They are still complaining how he "back stabbed" the negotiations last summer.

Well that is good news but will it last?
So one guy won't get publicly hanged today. What about the thousands of girls that are being gunned down in the street?
Trump should not have encouraged the protesters with the promise that he would come to their aid. Thousands of those people are dead now and there is no aid or protection.

LINK link to article from zerohedge. here is some hard truth. for years, israel has been trying to get the usa to attack iran because they can't finish the job themselves. they made a secret deal weeks ago to not attack each other. our bestest friend israel (mossad), was highly involved in this regime change operation? but is now ready to let the usa finish the job on their own. trump, who is a puppet of israel should just back away. but has his mouth got in the way?

It would be very prudent to ignore any public statements regarding Iran from this administration. However, the effect this type of news will have on morale in Iran and for the diaspora of iranians will be deflating.
IF Trump doesn't come to their aid, it will be the largest blunder of his administration. Worse than how Obama treated them back in 2009.

These uprisings seem to ride a wave. They have a natural crescendo where if something is going to change, it has to change at that point.
If it doesn’t, it’s almost impossible to keep the momentum going.
We don’t fully know what’s going on on the ground, but it certainly feels like we’re at that crescendo point right now or maybe moving past it.
