China is saying they are there too. The US simply doesn’t get the benefit of doubt here given their monumental lies and campaigns of propaganda in the last 2 years

The reason this is a sweet piece of prop is that there are biological laboratories and attempts to deny this will fall flat, but you can of course elide "biological laboratories" to imply biological weapons facilities and imply you have some sort of casus belli to go after them. Sweet!

Except that the DOD claims to have worked on retooling the lab, not any of our many medical orgs that typically do this work, like NIH, CDC, etc., how any of you can dismiss it at this point is flabbergasting.

point. We see how biolabs can be used as weapons as well.

No matter who "owns" the bio-labs, it's concerning that the US is defending these biolabs from Russia

Yeah, I think I am going to stick with the second scenario.
The thing is I am not looking to support or believe Putin. I just know that our government is a criminal enterprise in many respects. I am not saying Putin is an angel, but I will not shutdown the talks of the USA doing nefarious things just because I am an American. Look at our history, both past and present. We are capable of some heinous crap.

Turns out that these are Soviet Era biolabs which we approved funding for decon and conversion in 2004. Now, what happened to that money and why has it taken so long?
We already did this in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for stockpiles of Soviet bioweapons
