We need to import more muslims. So the good muslim can stop the jihad muslim, from killing innocent civilians. " Diversity is our strength." *Sarcasm* I should've explained it

So I found a Sydney local news article that verifies his name and quotes relatives but doesn’t mention his religion.
I scanned several articles the past few minutes and a few say he’s Muslim, none say he’s Catholic.
I think I will edit to just “Man” until we read confirmation otherwise.
He never handled a gun before, articles say. He was shot in the arm and hand twice, undergoing surgery.

Very brave, but why didn’t he shoot his fellow Muslim once he had the rifle? He allowed the shooter to retreat, get another gun, and continue shooting.
Either way, it was ballsy as frick and the dude is a hero

And where might the shooter get those type rifles, hmm? Afghanistan maybe?

I’ll consider it but I’ll need more than Hail just telling me who he is.
Understandable given his track record.

Good on the guy, but he should have shot the bastard.

I probably would have shot him (in reality I would never have approached I would have GTFO) but Ahmed’s relatives said he has never handled a gun before and wouldn’t know how to shoot.
And I’m not going to armchair quarterback a terrorist disarmament.

Right. He did well. But the dude eventually ran off and regrouped with his terrorist buddy. I was thinking about it a little and actually, I don't think I would have shot him either, because in Australia he would probably end up in fricking jail. I would have beaten the dude nearly to death with the butt of that shotgun.

Brave, then ... odd.

He obviously didn’t know how to operate the weapon. Or it was out of ammo. Or the weapon was malfunctioning. Either way the dude stayed in the fight even after being wounded and threw rocks at the enemy. That’s legendary shite.

Australia is a fricked up place.

Footage circulating online shows a middle-aged man, identified by media as Ahmed al-Ahmed, a fruit shop owner and member of the local Muslim community, sneaking up on one of the attackers. The man wrestled the firearm from the gunman, who was forced to retreat to his accomplice.
An honorable man of selfless action. Much respect to him.
Islamic civilization, however, is still incompatible with Western Civilization. The Qaran itself very precisely commands the practitioners of Islam to take over the world and subjugate or behead all who do not submit to them willfully.

Ahmed is a Lebanese Christian, don’t misidentify his religion or assume because of his name. He has a well known store in Sydney which has his Maronite cross on display.
News reports identify him as follows: "Ahmed al-Ahmed, a fruit shop owner and member of the local Muslim community."

Show us. And be specific.

It doesn’t. It does teach to proselytize and suggests being violent in some cases but for the most part it teaches the same lessons as the Bible. The Torah might be the most backwards of the 3 abrahamic texts if we’re being honest.

This is correct. And just like in the Bible, the Quran gives guidelines for how to behave during times of war. And just like the Bible, it isn't pretty.
