My guess is we just hacked into them and took control. They are now in our possession.

So that requires a 10 day shutdown? Did you pass 1st grade or did the TDS just rot your brain?

HAARM missiles would stop this at the source.

Thanks Decatur!
I said earlier that either A) someone fricked up, B) miscommunication between the FAA and the military, or C) a pissing contest between the FAA and the military.
Sounds like both A and B for sure. Probably C, also.

The unexpected but brief airspace closure in the Texas border city of El Paso stemmed from disagreements between the Federal Aviation Administration and Pentagon officials over drone-related tests, multiple sources close to the matter told CBS News.
The Pentagon had undertaken extensive planning on the use of military technology near Fort Bliss, a military base that abuts the El Paso International Airport, to practice taking down drones.
Two sources identified the technology as a high-energy laser.
Meetings were scheduled over safety impacts, but Pentagon officials wanted to test the technology sooner, stating that U.S. Code 130i requirements governing the protection of certain facilities from unmanned aircraft had been met.
FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford on Tuesday night decided to close the airspace — without alerting White House, Pentagon or Homeland Security officials, sources said.

Earlier this week, the anti-drone technology was launched near the southern border to shoot down what appeared to be foreign drones. The flying material turned out to be a party balloon, sources said. One balloon was shot down, several sources said.

And in the end, there never were any cartel drones that needed to be "shot down", "neutralized", or "disabled". It was a false alarm.
All you baws who got giant erections over the prospects of us invading northern Mexico are now left with nothing but blue balls.

They're just probing right now. Testing package drops.
I suspect that border enforcement has severely impacted Cartel supply routes and methods … now they’re getting desperate to deliver their products.
We’re going to begin seeing a lot more activity along the Canadian border too

It's not an act, is it?
People on the left are collectivist.
They believe the government outside of Trump is benevolent and honest.
A percentage of them will believe anything they’re told.
They will ignore their own eyes if needed to bend to a narrative.

Cartel guys aren't stupid. Why would they be flying drones over into a heavily populated area with major military installations (Ft Bliss) nearby?

You are dumb enough to believe you shut down airports for 10 days for training.
So we shut down airports for 10 days over drones delivering drugs? That seems equally unbelievable.
