Its a bad move. Everyone knows it. But its probably by design.
Looks like the time for the USA has passed. We can’t do anything without pissing off the Russians and Chinese. We must keep to ourselves and hang out here on the west side of the Atlantic.

Not enough. We also must shite on and block membership in NATO for any country that Russia or China may want to destroy and conquer at some point. What the people of those countries want is irrelevant.

I love Reagan and his foreign policy was great. He is by far the best president of our lifetime, IMO. It was post Soviet breakup period that the foreign policy of the west was bad.
At that time the foreign policy should've changed from what it would be with the USSR. But they kept the same foreign policy with Russia, and the EU followed suit. NATO was to hold off USSR and Warsaw Pact countries. That was gone, so when NATO expands east breaking agreements, Russia is wondering why are you 1st breaking an agreement and 2nd what is NATO combating? You are basically saying to Russia, you are still the Soviet Union.
My point in all this is that the US has a lot of blame in getting the situation where it is right now, through their foriegn policy. I'm not excusing Putin in anything he too has made his bed and has blame in this for sure. But much of his actions are reactionary to what NATO/US/EU have done over the last 30 yrs.

Is that any better than on the East side of the Pacific? China has so many people in the western U.S. that they will be submitting an application for assimilation as a new sub entity of China.

It wouldn’t have made any difference. Putin came to power and is just working his plan.
