Gov Gav is what committed, medium left-wing Democrats THINK is a centrist who can appeal to swing voters, young white males, lower income whites, etc. The problem is that so much of the support, especially the money behind him is from people who don't have much in common with the voters they are targeting. So, you end up with a weird simulacrum of the kind of candidate who could really appeal to those voters. Tim Walz was a midwestern version of the same thing. the problem for the Democrats is that they either don't have a strong bench. Harris, Mayor Pete . . . good grief. Or, when they have a candidate who could arguably make such a connection, he is disqualified for one reason or another due to a policy stance, such as Shapiro for not wanting Israel to be wiped off the map.

Or Newports. Maybe Swisher Sweets if he wants a more upscale look.

I’m pretty sure it’s the way he crosses his legs like a fagg that makes him a good candidate for the Dems

Why do you people think libs want “moderate” Democrats?

A lot of women will vote for him, because a lot of women are more likely to vote for a candidate they're attracted to secretly want to play hide the weiner with Gavin Newsome.

I think 3 things (as an outside observer):
1. Articulate and looks the part.
2. Well-connected and Governor of the largest state.
3. Trump fatigue (see 2020 election).
These are 3 main reasons why he definitely has a chance to defeat Trump’s chosen successor, whether that’s Vance or Rubio.

I don’t disagree he can win. I think he’s demonstrably a bad governor at this point. It’s not a case of just being around for a few years then running.

He reminds me of a one-season soap opera villain or the guy cast to be the villain in the direct-to-video sequel of a Jason Statham flick.

Here he is in his ideal role.

It's him, AOC, or Kamala again
They will put andy on the ticket with him, but it won't help. Even liberals know those people are mind numbed robots who can't think or speak without a team around them, and then still say and do stupid stuff.

The 3 of them together would not equal one very aging Joe Biden.

It shouldn't take much, will see what happens.

Imagine being a white male swayed by Gavin. Couldn’t be me. But you might find guys like VOR, beaux Duke, Decatur, clark14, and Harry Caray supporting him.
This election, for me, will come down to who wins the republican nomination. They need to nominate a candidate who is not under the thumb of the magat movement and can tell trump and his cabal to go away and mean it. Someone with a spine who can move on from this idiocy being heaped on us now. Vance is a puppet so no to him. I’m intrigued by Rubio, he seems to try to distance himself from the bs but I’ll need to see what his agenda will be.
Maybe there’s another face we haven’t seen yet who is interested in running and far removed from the trump crap. No matter what happens in the election trump, if still alive, isn’t going away and we need a candidate who’ll tell him to piss off and rot in his own filthy brothel.
The last 3 elections were easy for me, vote against trump for reasons that are very obvious now. Hopefully I’ll actually have real choices this time, Lord knows we’ll need someone capable of pulling us out of this mess.

What are your Republican or conservative opinions?

Yeah, he's basically the best they got.

Lmao pulling us out of this mess??? He’s improved almost, if not all metrics across the board.
The mess was created by your Marxist buddies and rinos
