I don't really know much about them, but it was a bit shocking to me that in the midst of the collapse of the Afghan government the Biden administration was convinced that said government/national army would simply "watch" those prisoners incarcerated at Bagram. And had any sort of confidence that this could be a successful endeavor, again, given the tumultuous circumstances at the time. Perplexing.
