Despite his shortcomings as president, it always rubbed me the wrong way to see people take such personal shots at him. He's a good human being.

Waging war maybe? He, Cheney and Rumsfeld are 3 of the biggest war criminals in US history.

God some of you people are pure jack asses. Comparing Bush in any way to that failure in office now is down right offensive.

“I do miss saluting men and women who volunteered to defend our nation during the war,” Bush said. “Many are coming home and are preparing for new missions as civilians, and I intend to salute these men and women for the rest of my life.”

What about the ones who didn't come home Georgie?

Does it strike this a-hole as a bit odd that he's been out of office for 5 1/2 years and is talking about troops coming home from wars he started in his 1st term?

Being so naive you buy either sides talking points and don't see how similar they are is offensive.

Meh. He's still responsible for sending thousands of them overseas to serve as cannon fodder.

GWB sent over 10,000 kids to die for absolutely no reason but aww shucks his eyes well with tears when he sees them in a hospital so it's alright by me!

I've said this here before: If you havent read his book, you should.

He's pretty damn candid in it about why he made certain decisions.

Forget it. Liberals minds are already (permanently) made up about him. They're not budging despite being so open-minded

Um...no...

The man sent our military to die in a desert on a lie. Where we're all these "anti-government" republicans when all that was going on?

History will not be kind to G Dubz
