Why does anyone care about the public exchange of pleasantries when someone from the other side dies? It always feels fake and insincere. (And what I mean is, when it's obviously sincere, of course it's great, it just so rarely is when it comes to politics).
Say it if you actually mean it, otherwise, who cares? Does the Left get "points" when they grieved over Scalia? Does it change what they they or what their policies are? Does it change ANYTHING at all? Do you REALLY think they were sorry, or were they possibly indifferent, and probably slightly relieved they didn't have to go against him anymore?
