Same can be said about Flamin Hot Cheetos.

People aren’t out here arguing Flamin Hot Cheetos are medicinal.

Him and Ted Cruz are two of a kind. They both came to Texas to tell real Texans what they can and can't do.

What does Ted Cruz have to do with Texas law?

You’re right. Ted’s no. 1 priority is Israel.

People shouldn't have to make that argument about THC, but atlas, it takes some convincing to get the nanny state off our backs.

It’s probably motivated by the pharma companies who want it regulated so they can make money?

And the alcohol/liquor lobby.

Do you think big Pharma isn’t investing in cannabis?

So, keep regulations tight or keep it illegal... Then when big pharma has their whole infrastructure in place and is ready to hit the market, they'll push for bills to legalize it and one that will to give them the competitive advantage, and screw the smaller businesses.

Big pharma wants massive regulations in before legalization, that way the little guy is already squeezed out of the market. Much cheaper for them.

Exactly.

If medicinal value is a guide, what medicinal value justifies alcohol? I have said for years that more harm comes from alcohol use in a single day than from anything Marijuana related in all of history to date combined.
Cui Bono always, there's the answer.

People who need controlled substances to survive day to day life aren’t living in freedom. It’s the opposite.

Some people, including veterans, use it daily to deal with chronic pain from injuries. You think it's the opposite of freedom for them to have relief from that pain, but should instead live in pain?

If someone gave them a placebo that mimicked pot, they’d likely get the same “pain relief.”

Some people like getting high. More news at 11.

Medicinal value has been the sale to get pot legalized. Then they get recreational marijuana passed and most people stop pretending it was about medicinal value.
