Social Security benefits are considered mandatory spending, meaning they are funded through a permanent trust fund rather than through the annual congressional budget process. Don't go scaring Mee-Maw and Paw-Paw like that!

Private industry knows federal workers are lazy. I do not see people jumping up and down to hire former fed workers, unless the meet some objective. They might hire some former high ups, to get some relationships with remaining members still employed in gov. The low level DEI rank and file are screwed in this. There are going to a lot of unemployed female POCs.
