The real reason is that you live in an echo chamber.

And you live in a fantasy world where you think pushing porn on school-children is simply a difference of opinion.

I'm gonna bet this guy can't properly define "woman".
You would lose that bet. His view is that, aside from a few odd exceptions (hermaphrodites, for example), gender is set at birth. However, he feels like etiquette demands that if dudes want to be called women we should do it, except that they should not be allowed to compete as women.

The truth is that as populations become denser they need more government, and ours - in fact, the whole world - is becoming denser.
Link?
Seems that the world has become denser by the day and yet government has gotten less draconian and tilted towards self rule.

Why?
I'll exaggerate for clarity. If North America was populated by 100 people do you think they would need any stop signs?

That's an interesting point. You think government is getting smaller?

But that’s genocide.

Once someone justifies murdering babies in their minds, then they can justify anything.

MAGA is upset this morning about something. Lots of talk about burning the country down and Joy Reed

That isn't "etiquette", it's capitulating to the demands of sick people who insist that you forgo reality and your personal beliefs to appease their power-fantasies.
This "expert" of yours is shite, no matter how eloquent.

So you're punting to some guy no one has ever heard of? Typical
No one on THIS board has ever heard of. He has a very popular substack. A lot of conservatives, like me, subscribe to it. You are making the very point of my post, which is that you guys don't even know what the left believes. You only know what the most stupid leftists believe.
Every leftist should read the National Review and every conservative should read the Atlantic. It doesn't have to be those two; there are good alternatives. Heritage Foundation would work or WSJ editorial page for the Right Wing perspective. Unfortunatel, all too few actually do this. That's why we have two camps, mostly in echo chambers, and each of which thinks the other is bat-shite crazy.

It ebbs and flows. I think the natural tendency is to get bigger and ours is certainly moving in that direction but I don’t think it’s because we are growing in population. It’s mostly due to candidates needing to be elected and the low hanging fruit is to tell people how their problems will be solved by government. Good luck getting elected as a “personal responsibility” and “I’m not going to do anything if elected” candidate.
Your theory is Hobbesian and decidedly unAmerican. Not to say that you are but that’s where it is rooted.

This is from Rush it is so true today
Finding common ground means that both sides agree on some fundamental principles. By compromising with Obama we would be saying that we agree with some aspects of socialism. No we don’t. There is no common ground between an ideology of slavery and the ideology of freedom. Rush Limbaugh said the meaning of the election was “No, we don’t want to ‘work together,’ and the American people did not say they want to work with you. The American people said yesterday they want to stop you!”
In order to stop someone from doing something immoral, you do not compromise, you don’t even pretend to be friends.
The fact that Republicans have been finding “common ground” and therefore compromising our rights away is what got us into this mess in the first place. We need to send a message to them now that we will not tolerate any more compromises. We don’t want any more Goodie Two-Shoes in Congress. If Republicans compromise again with our destroyers, they can count on being on the next chopping block

I think you are correct here. We are far too divided and are only knowing one another based upon our most cartoonish elements. The reality is both conservative values and liberal values are needed in a properly functioning society.

So why allow thus in our society stop playing there games call it for what it is not because I'm too nice og that makes you shite because you are not being honest and genuine
