It's a fact, not just an opinion. I'll post this for the third time...if North America was populated by only 100 people would they need stop signs?

People have addressed it, myself included.

They are ACTIVELY SEXUALIZING CHILDREN.

We disagree on who "they" is.

Further, most of us sexualize children. My niece and her husband are raising their children in a very traditional way, and one that I think you and I would largely support. However, this includes grooming their son to be nearly allergic to the color pink. Why? We feed them stories of Cinderella and Snow White, which support traditional stereotypes of heterosexual relationships in which strong men take care of feeble women.

I happen to like that sort of grooming, and I think it results in a more healthy society, but I understand it is grooming - grooming them toward a sexualization that is productive for society.

Sorry, I don't know who my hero is supposed to be, nor do I understand your comment. Generally I am a supporter of traditional values.

I'm still interested in the logic behind the assumption that there's a need for more government the denser a population gets.

I already mentioned waste and water supply. How many more examples would you like?

The truth is that as populations become denser they need more government, and ours - in fact, the whole world - is becoming denser.

No Republican would ever say this or deduce people so easily.

If North America was populated only by 100 people would they need stop signs?

This point is so obvious that it's shocking I have to keep explaining it.

I don't know what you meant by "deduce people" so I won't try.

Then you are a fool.

The Democrats aren't hiding it.

Quite the opposite in fact.

I’ve noticed you conflate the definitions of words/ phrases. Here you use “sexualization” to define a “gender role”.
Earlier you said “government” when you clearly mean “structure/order”.
Perhaps this is why so many people here are having difficulty understanding your points.

And I think there are more stop signs per capita in rural areas than urban.

So if North America was populated by only 100 people what is your intuitive guess as to the number of stop signs they would need?

Ok, thanks for finally letting us know that OP was a troll post and you aren't a serious poster.

If you equate what the Left is doing with those on the Right raising normal children within the confines of traditional sex/gender roles, then you are a moron.

I mean you don't have to look beyond the basics like water and waste to understand that as the population density grows the need for a collective solution grows with it. You aren't putting an apartment building on a well and a septic tank.

O.k.

Of course the need for infrastructure increases and I'm not sure how to express that I wasn't implying that there would be no need for any increased government at all, only that—like just about everything that poster posted—the relative truth of the statement depends a whole lot on what was meant by the statement. For example, infrastructure needs obviously increase, does that mean we need more federal building/materials/environmental regulations? I doubt it. I'll bet we already have more than enough. What do you think?

I would have thought my last post on the subject (complete with a mea culpa on how I expressed it) would have cleared that up, but here we are.

So what else would you like for me to say? So that we can move past this?

I live in a private community of over 1000 homes and we didn’t need the government to put up even 1 stop sign. What is it about a stop sign that requires a government?

No, your unbiased "expert" is a fool.

Biden is actively promoting the destruction of the country, that is inarguable.

First, I cited no unbiased expert; that is your invention.

Second, that Biden is actively promoting the destruction of America is certainly arguable. That is a clown statement on the order of the left wing loons saying that Trump's election would mean the end of American Democracy.

Yes.

This moron wants you to believe that Democrat pushing pornography on school kids is exactly the same as not wanting your sons to play with Barbie dolls.

This was a troll post from the beginning or OP is legit braindead.

100 towns of 2,500 people spread out need 100 water treatment plants.

250,000 people in a single city (like mine) has 2 water treatment plants.

Which involves more government?

Hahaha....ok idiot, I'll play along.

So you think a WIDE OPEN SOUTHERN BORDER inviting MILLIONS OF PEOPLE to illegally enter, then giving them all welfare whilst pushing to give them voting rights isn't promoting the destruction of the country?

Go ahead, entertain us, troll....

In light of their recent fight to keep open illegal border crossings in Texas I’m afraid there is not other explanation. They are actively facilitating an invasion of illegal aliens to the detriment of American citizens. They have lost any possible plausible deniability.

No, they don't. They can get by on wells and septic. An apartment complex cannot do that.

Huge disconnect here.

It means you clearly feel superior to others, especially Republicans.

Nobody is talking about stop signs and traffic lights. We are talking about over regululating everything in everyone's lives.

The reason most people pay folks to do their taxes is because the government employs an army of people who have their own rules. Their conclusions about your situation are never wrong.

The fact that I have to have a super solid certified Driver's License to prove who I am in order to fly domestically while our government let's people into our country without any verification, health screening, or checks against terror watch list.

Somehow that is supposed to make sense and be smart.
