You know they pretty much sandbag his first term too, so I’m really down for another eight years after this term is done. They owe Him two more.

All I know is that in the absence of Trump on the ballot in 2028, will Republican voters still show up at the Polls?

Trump should be limited to 2x8 year terms. For all the halftards that means yes Trump 2028 and Trump 2032.
It apparently means the same thing for fulltards.

3 more years of what is here and coming will do a number on anybody Trump’s age. I really don’t think he’ll care to stay in the spotlight and be like Biden or McConnell. A lot depends on how much progress is made in cleaning out the corruption. And he can remain close as a personal advisor to JD or Rubio.

Like or believe it or not, a lot of Trump’s boldness and the success therein comes from the fact that he is independently wealthy. It may not be as easy for JD but times will change fast and who knows what the scenario will be. Things that might sound outrageous now could be an accepted norm by then. I can well remember when the number TRILLION was unthinkable related to the Budget.

His weight gain, swollen feet, bruised hands (which I don't buy is from Asprin) indicate he might not be well enough to run in 3 years let alone start serving in four..

No, I think he's doing a great job but you don't go against the constitution and I don't want that precedence to be set.

Is he though? His second term especially seems to be nothing but absolute chaos and grifting. Nothing lasting that was accomplished, just tons of EOs to roll back and repair the damage. Not to mention the damage to our reputation on the world stage.

Trump couldn’t win a third term… if the rules change Obama could run… Trump has beaten women for his two terms… so there’s that

If the alternative is Kamala or Gavin, yes. If the alternative is a pro-constitution pro-2A fiscal conservative who will actually throw bad people in jail, then I take that.

quote:

Daniel 2:21 “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings.”

This could be a reference to their calendar conflict. Before the Babylonian exile, the Jews used the Canaanite solar calendar, which was extremely important to the livelihood of their society and universe as we see in the “other” second set of 10 commandments in exodus all about keeping the festivals at the right time of the year and not boiling a young goat in its mother’s milk. The exiled Jews adopted the Babylonian lunar calendar, and that was a huge problem when they returned and attempted to forcibly convert the Jews that stayed behind.

quote:

1 Timothy 2:1–2 “I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life.”

Perfect example of why 1 Timothy is pseudepigrapha- it wasn’t written by Paul. Paul wasn’t concerned about leading a peaceful and quiet life for himself or others. Paul said if you are a literal slave, don’t escape and don’t try to be free.. because this world is about to end and Jesus is going to come to destroy heaven and earth and remake it and judge the living and the dead… within Paul’s lifetime. He wrote “we” who are still alive will meet the LORD in the air.

Trump likely has saved America, or at least given we the people a chance to save it. But I believe we should follow the Constitution and it says only two terms. So it will be time to step aside and pass the torch to Vance or Rubio in 2028.

No. There are almost 3 years to get someone ready to take over the reigns.
