Idk who he is but that tariff dialogue nearly made my head explode
First the dumbass starts talking about tarriffs as if he either willfully ignores basic economics or is ignorant of them ignoring the entire point of tarriffs which isn't for foreign companies to pay higher prices but for those companies to move production to domestic
Then after Trump explains that the fricker says "well that would take a very long time to happen" as if it invalidates the entire thing. So I guess possible economic solutions are only viable if they will "work" within a year or two and given that that is the case I'd LOVE to hear what he or anyone proposes that could possibly be effective in such a quick time frame
fricking jackass

I hate arrogant eurotards. I laughed at two of my competitors when they pulled up stakes, left the country and went back to Euro land.
Our strength in the niche industry in which we operate played a role in that. Very satisfying.

guy says to Trump, you're turning this into a debate, when he already has done that himself. What a douche.

I don’t know the Brit’s name but I love to listen to DJT in this setting. His stories about his experiences while being 45 are fascinating.
Then there’s Kamala accusing him of hiding. Lol

Many people were already familiar with the benefits of tariffs, but it's good to hear Trump explain it so succinctly for those unaware. I doubt this will change the minds of those that think participating in a one-sided, non-existent "free market" is more important than national security and American business, but we can hope.

Thank you for the link, it was a pretty good interview for Trump I think.
I ended up looking up the full interview and was pleasantly surprised how often he seemed to get the crowd on his side.
I'm assuming the crowd was also invited and curated by the host so I would have assumed a hostile crowd.
The interviewer certainly wasn't hiding his bias.

His name is John Micklethwait, editor-in-chief of Bloomberg News.

A lot of Americans, and all Brits, think that interviewers and actors with English accents sound smarter and more erudite.
As someone who listens to a shite load of Brits because I follow the premier league closely, they have their fair share of retards. And they usually played for or are fans of United.

Why are people crying about tariffs like Trump didn’t do them during his first term. We had tariffs and it affected costs negligibly. And the same people were crying about how it was going to drive up costs in 2016.

Even more bewildering is IIRC the Biden admin kept some if nit all of the tariffs Trump implemented
Of course I believe Trump is proposing more and/or higher ones this time around

Here's a CSPAN link to the whole thing. Trump can just talk, he KNOWS this stuff. No teleprompter, no softball questions, and he's getting a lot of applause from the audience.
Oh, the Economic Club of Chicago invited Harris as well - so far has declined.

Man, this 'interviewer' is just one 'gotcha' attempt after another, interrupts President Trump over and over, and does the usual "let's move on" after Trump demolishes him.
Check out @ 56:50 - he brings up immigration, tries a 'gotcha' on Trump, that sending all these workers (illegals) back will hurt business (as he points to the business audience for support), "are you ready to tell them it's OK to have a smaller economy for immigration control?"
Trump: "Simple answer, I want a lot of people to come into our country, I want them to come here legally" - and the crowd erupted into cheers, whistles and applause for at least 10 seconds (and they had been told to be quiet).
This guy thought he had the support of the audience, and they all turned on him and cheered Trump.

The Bloomberg interview is truly the best Trump has ever acquitted himself to a hostile host. He didn't stoop to name calling, just dropped bomb after bomb.
It was a defining moment.
