They don't

Psst. Those aren’t men
Posted on 7/18/24 at 10:34 pm to SlidellCajun
Because they're not really men

Gay or weak and were bullied their whole life and want to see the country that built those bullies destroyed.

Men used to vote democrat because they worked manual labor and the democrat party advocated for better working conditions. Classic employer vs employee dynamic. Those days are over now. The democrats found new victims in gays, trans and women.
For a male in the modern world, it makes no sense to vote democrat.

This. I can't understand why men like Jim Bernhard are big players in the Democratic Party.

It is. These days, White, wealthy men have joined the other side. I suspect there are financial incentives, less chance of being canceled -- in other words a protection racket.
I know a 35 yo fellow - good guy - secular jew, who was bequeathed money by his father and has several businesses. Major case of TDS and there is no talking to him about politics.
To people like this, who were born with a silver spoon, I don't get it. His businesses will thrive under Trump, but it doesn't matter to him. It's almost like he doesn't want the rest of the middle class to grow.
And in some of our households around the country, the man does not lead, and the wife has become dominant. She may be more outspoken, have been given a dowry or inheritance, has a better career or just a higher social standing than the husband (hi Mika).
In other words a cuck by another name.

Trump is trying to move the demo of the GOP to more lower class people. He's trying to reform it as the working man's party. He's also going all in on rural areas.
Naturally, this will create another shift of the educated/professional class as they have no place in the Trumpian working class GOP. Also the concentration of these people in urban/suburban areas also works geographically.
The Rise of College-Educated Democrats
quote:
The largest gaps have come in the two most recent elections (2018 and 2020), during a period in which rates of degree attainment among white Democrats jumped 12 points (from 44% in 2016 to 53% in 2018 and 56% in 2020). Figure 18 further shows that, between 2016 and 2020, the college-educated white share of voters for Democratic candidates increased by an average of 9.3 points across races, making them the largest single Democratic voting constituency in the 2018 and 2020 (and likely future) elections. While the college-educated nonwhite share (solid light blue line) also grew in this period (by an average of 7.2 points), a substantial portion of this growth is attributable to Asians, whose rates of educational attainment exceed those of whites. Indeed, excluding Asians (solid gray line), the college-educated nonwhite share grew by a more modest average of 5.6 points.
quote:
What might be the consequences of these trends for the representation and power of nonwhite groups within the Democratic Party? Any prediction would be speculative—and would ultimately require assuming that educational polarization among whites will persist or continue to strengthen in the years and elections ahead. There are reasons to doubt this assumption. As we saw, the largest and most recent growth in this alignment—as well as concomitant increases in white Democrats’ political engagement—was spurred by the Trump election and presidency. Once Trump is no longer perceived as the bugbear face of the Republican Party, perhaps threat perceptions will fall, depolarization will ensue, and the stigma that college-educated whites attach to voting for GOP candidates will wane.
But there are compelling reasons to think that these trends will endure. First, they have endured through the time of this writing—just after the 2022 midterm elections and nearly two years into the first term of the Biden administration. For instance, preliminary data from the 2022 Cooperative Election Study show that 58% of white, college-educated, likely voters intended to vote for Democratic House candidates at rates similar to, if not higher than, those in the 2018 (57.6%) and 2020 (57%) elections.[34] Likewise, exit poll data, shown in Figure 19, suggest that college-educated whites voted for Democratic House candidates in 2022 at rates (50%) similar to those in 2020 (49%) and 2018 (53%).
*ETA: before the ad homs, I'm not voting for Biden or any other Democrat

I don't understand why White people vote Democrat.
This ain't the 1960's democrats helping the American Farmers... No. this is 2024 Democrats saying White people are the cause of all our problems.. Same crap Hitler said in 1933...
Any White person that votes democrat is sealing their own fate, like Jews that voted for Hitler.
That is not what he said...

Wealthy white people depend on constant economic growth which fricks the working class.
They would ride this thing in the ground.

Rog, I literally posted a study discussing this.
You even make the same argument when you argue against the Trump/MAGA policies to "bring manufacturing back to America"
