I just don’t get it.
You don't get it.
Otherwise you'd drop the idiotic "pro-Russia" categorization.
Failure to support a US/NATO proxy war, failure to support using Ukrainian youth as nothing but human fodder, i.e., as so much organic garbage, simply to "Press Putin" does not make one "pro-Russian." It makes one anti-war-lust.
While your war-lusting comrades adorn their posts with "Slava Ukraini" and/or Ukrainian flags, do any of the posters you're referencing respond with "Slava Rossii" or post images of the Russian flag?
Do any members of congress have a Russian flag outside their office entrance? Have any waved Russian flags on the House floor? Do any wear Russian flag lapel pins? When you find those people, actual pro-Russian folks, please bring them to this board's attention.
This is a war with roots dating to 2008, which should never have started. However, once started, it was fully open to a negotiated conclusion in Apr2022. The US/UK/NATO had a huge hand in the 2008 war-cause rooting, in escalation to Russia's 2014 and 2022 invasions, and in scuttling the Apr2022 peacetalks. There is no excuse whatsoever for any of those US/UK/NATO actions. None!
Acknowledgement of that FACT make one neither anti-Ukraine, anti-America, nor pro-Russia. It make one pro-CommonSense and pro-Humanity.

I don't believe you. You didn't join this fledgling message board in 2004 and immediately start meaningfully engaging others in political affairs

Imagine creating an account on the internet and picking a username that will eventually be known as an app for pedophiles.
That was an unfortunate choice by OP.
Or was it.

We’re not …we just don’t suck Zelenskyy’s dick and view Russia and and Ukraine correctly as autocratic shitholes. However, Ukraine’s leaders are overplaying their hand and need to come to the table and yes, make concessions.

Because we have more commonality with Russia than China. At its root Russia is a Judueochristian nation and is a European country vs China that is so culturally removed from us as to be incompatible.
The world is going to fall under 2 spheres of influence, US vs China before its all said and done.

Ironic that people on the left, many of whom align more philosophically with Marx, choose to accuse people on the right of being pro Russian.
There is nothing good for the US taxpayer in this war. The war may be good for our neo con and leftist politicians who continue to want to send money to Ukraine. Our financial stake in continuing to prop up Ukraine and Zelensky needs to end.
The amount of taxes hard working people in the US now pay is ridiculous. I am fine with cessation of sending money to scummy dictators like Zelensky. I am fine with identifying our own governments waste, fraud and abuse and using those savings to pay down some debt. I am fine with returning illegals to their country of origin and ridding ourselves of all the hidden expenses invoked on the taxpayer by the Biden administration with their flights, housing and walking around money provided to illegals in the hopes of securing their vote.
If saving us money requires that the US partners with Russia to broker a peace deal with Ukraine, then so be it. It’s not about desiring isolation or hatred of Ukraine or even the weak arse Euros and NATO, it’s about how our country chooses to spend money, taking only what is truly needed from the taxpayer and gaining operational accountability in how that money is spent.

Just because someone si smart enough to say (To hell us Ukraine, as would not be sending them anything) does not meant that person is pro russian.
I would really like to know why some people on both sides think the USA should be involved in every military conflict on the planet.

It looks like between the 2 of us, you’re the only one that’s looked up something on that homo site.
Hope that video search you did is now gonna bombard you with more of those videos, but maybe you actually like that.

We aren't pro-Russia. We just believe the following:
1. Eastern European problems are not our problem, especially if the conflict predates our involvement in the region (this has been on and off hundreds of years)
2. Our young men should not die for someone else's territorial dispute
3. Our tax dollars shouldn't fund someone else's weapons
4. Humanitarian aid should be sent, if at all, after the conflict
5. THE GRIFTING DICTATOR IN UKRAINE IS AS BAD AS HIS RUSSIAN COUNTERPART

I agree with all of this. 100%
I just can’t bring myself to agree with the praising of Russia and Putin, which some people have started doing.

In very simplified form, many entire-rational "conservatives" have decided that fiscal restraint is more important to them than are our international obligations to our European allies.
Why is it the US’s obligation to fund Ukraine’s defense?

Same principle as TDS
Biden and the establishment are for Ukraine and anti Russia. Therefore I love Russia and hate Ukraine.
I can still hate Russia and want Ukraine to win, but without US money.

Confusing a safer world & business environment should not be a conservative or liberal policy but a general policy. The truth liberals think that the war is over is buried beneath a msm headline which is a false statement

I get so damn sick of seeing posts like this. Guess what jerk? We ain’t pro Russia we’re sick and tired of the money laundering scheme known as Ukraine. And you pro Ukraine people are so stupid, you are pro anything Trump is against and pro propaganda media. I can’t wait for DOGE to uncover all the dirt on the democrat state sponsored media. Not that you or the other idiots will believe it

Because NATO (mostly USA) lied and said no expansion eastwards towards Russia. We promised and lied over and over again. We are the aggressors. Ukraine was the last straw.
Imagine Russia promising to stay in South America and then ignoring the promise and creep all the way up to Mexico with missiles in Juarez and border towns.
We are on the wrong side of this and Trump and Vance have the balls to acknowledge the simple truth.
