I really don’t think the statements from the 2 countries contradict each other.
US said we are not participating in the preemptive strike.
Israel said they fully coordinated w/ US before the attack.
Unless I’ve missed other statements, both of those things can be true. The confusion/contradiction is just people speculating beyond what was said.

On a certain level we probably did help to "facilitate" in that we probably cleared the airspace between Israel and Iran prior to operations. Also we probably shared satellite imagery leading up to it.
Beyond that we probably have no real involvement other than knowledge ahead of time.

The US was busy evacuating our embassy in Iran three or four days ago. That made it obvious we knew what was coming. Rubio and Trump will have a very difficult time denying involvement.

Trump said he knew about it, but thats not being involved in the execution.
Regardless, it doesn’t really matter. Iran will respond as if those were US jets dropping bombs.
It's a wait and see game whether or not Iran attempts harm Americans in the ME.
My guess is they will but it won't be sending missiles, it will be suicide bombers.
