Remember, white women were also discriminated against by a very paternalistic white male society. No voting or land ownership rights for decades, limited access to education (segregated colleges and belief in most households that women needed no education), inequality in pay, glass ceilings that limited advancement in jobs regardless of performance. Think they are more active in social issues because they have been on the receiving end of unfair practices and are more sympathetic.

So, they could vote prior to 1920, own land, go to Harvard vice Radcliffe, and hold executive positions in corporations? Dude, you really need to take a Gender Studies course and learn how women have been treated like second class citizens in this country until recently. But then again, white males have targeted such teachings as DEI and eliminated much of it from the education process. Guess it is better to hide our truly disgraceful racist and sexist history than to learn from the mistakes moving forward.
