Maybe Trump should have tried to make peace with the GOPe. Trump likes starting shite to see where it leads. But politics is not the same sort of game like The Apprentice.
You can criticize guys like Rove and his white board, but he understands the game he is playing much better than Trump. He was pretty succesful at it as well. He knows how things work in the game of politics. He would have seen the things that were going on over a year ago and would have moved to blunt them. Trump's problem is that he pisses people off, says shite about them, then goes off and trips over his own dick, says something incoherently stupid and then doubles down on it.
Rove wins....and he was pretty good at the game. I would take notes from him.

I obviously have no love for Karl Rove. But I won't pretend not recognize that literally anyone who criticizes Trump receives the treatment from you guys that Rove is now receiving. Because the Leader is never wrong and if you question the Leader, you must be banished. It is known.

Call him turd blossom if you want. But Rove was 4-0 in running elections for Bush. Trump is 1-1. So go ahead and embrace your perpetual victimhood instead of going on the offensive. Trump lost. There ain't gonna be no 3/4 and there ain't gonna be no 3/20.
BTW the whole impeachment in 2019 was cover for the Democrats to set up what they did (read Time).While Trump was distracted they set up the general election infrastructure. Democrats are political amimals...everything is calculated....So is Rove.

probably not - I am a lifelong conservative. The only time I ever even considered voting for a DEMocrat was JFKvRMN in 1960.. If LBJ and not been the VP candidate I may have considered it more, but I liked Nixon and hated LBJ - so the thinking didn't go very deep.
After that election I learned for the first time about voter fraud. I actually would have preferred that Nixon challenged the results.

ALL other times I voted for the candidate most likely to keep the DEMocrat from winning.
My votes are conservative, not party. It just so happens that the GOP, with all its deep state roots, is the ONLY place where a conservative can find a voice.

Nope. There are tons of Dems who criticize Obama for all kinds of thing and still remained in good standing in the party. Below is but a few. Not being a freaking baby, Obama never had a temper tantrum when he took friendly fire. Disowning party loyalist for daring to criticize the leader is just how y'all roll. It's not even a Republican phenomenon because other Republican pols aren't so insecure that they have the tantrums either. That's purely a Trump-cult thing.
