When we talk about crime stats everyone is well versed on per capita. When talking about Russia that knowledge is completely gone. What is Russia’s per capita PPP?
To illustrate, India is #3 on PPP index (not per capita), ahead of Russia. You ever been there? It rich?

He read a pro-Russian (possibly anti-American) X post that used PPP because it made Russia look good and then read another explaining why it's better (it's not).
Just look at last page when people were talking about the quality of education, he got owned, and retreated to a very relevant X post about an unrelated subject.
The question is why he tries to hard to make Russia look good.

over the last 10 years the Russian economy has grown from 3000 $/yearperson to 12000$. Thats probably the best economic growth in the world

This isn't even close to being correct. PPP GDP per capita in Russia was $36.2k in 2014, $40.1k in 2024 for a CAGR of 1.0%

I watched a good video on Russia. They are essentially a Petro State and pipelines across Ukraine allowed them access to Europe demand. Ukraine was also the “breadbasket “ of Russia. Also large NG deposits were discovered in Ukraine in ‘12. Guess when hell broke loose over there. Like Rush says “follow the money “.
