I've been seeing MN as more likely than Michigan which, for whatever reason, is less likely than 2016. He lost slimly last time, put a ground game in that wasn't there before, and the riots have likely motivated the Iron Belt significantly. My hot take.

Disagree. Close last time, closer this year. Think he wins it in 2024.

Anecdotally, I have a friend that lives there. He’s a very accomplished guy and liberal. He and his wife are voting for Trump. I’ve never seen either post anything political until today.
Regular, suburban and rural folks up there are fed up and scared of what’s going on.

Yes. Would he be making a trip there on Thursday if he wasn't? Rally in Rochester MN.

I wouldn’t call it nonsense, but I also wouldn’t turn down a bet offer from a believer in Trump winning Minnesota.
Think Biden takes it by about 4.

They’re not sick of it in Democrat states like MN. They have the government they voted for and support for 40+ years.

I would bet you you if you gave me 4.

No, I can't see that happening.

I'm giving Trump 2% more votes in every state over 2016.
If Trump gets 2% more votes, then yes he wins Minnesota.

I posted a few days ago. Driving in southern and western MN. For every Biden sign, there was 10-20 Trump signs. Even in generational farmer fields, which usually vote D.
2016, there was 20-30 Hillary signs compared to one trump in the same area.
The iron range didn’t support trump in 16 and now they support him. If Minnesota doesn’t go red this time, it never will.

Yes. I have been saying this for months (and Nevada and New Hampshire) and there is no reason to change now.

May depend on the McMuffin / Johnson vote, which was nearly 6%. Where those Johnson votes go in a lot of states with tiny margins will be Huge.

It’s possible, but not likely. But if I had to choose a state to flip it would be MN.
It’s “solidly” blue, but by very slim margins.

I think MN is more likely than any other Rust belt stat(MI, WI, PA) because the Iron Range is full MAGA.
Don't underestimate a flipped voter turning out more than a borderline Trump voter.
That said, I think Trump narrowly wins all of them.

Trump absolutely WOULD win Minnesota if only legal votes were counted. But that is not going to happen.

Of course it’s possible. Interestingly, the R % has capped out at 45%. Don needs some third party Johnson voters.
