I got the flu shot one time about 6 yrs ago and I had the worst flu/bronchitis ever. Then had a relapse.
I swore then I'll never take some vaccine/flu shot or whatever again. I had steroid shots, but that's it.

Why does one need a flu shot, if there is no flu?

If there’s one think all of this Covid business has done, it’s made me significantly more cynical. No thanks on the flu shot.

Ding ding... same for me if not 25-30 years, and I might have had the flu 3 times in those 30 years. But, I can remember when I was younger mom made all of us take the flu shot, and of course I had the flu every year. Its all horseshite and I realized that 30 years ago and stopped taking it.

Unless you're really old or have significant health issues, you shouldn't be taking the flu vaccine.
Healthy lemmings line up every year to take a vaccine that they don't need because "It's what I'm supposed to do!". Let your immune system do it's job idiots
Spot on what I just posted as I might have had the flu 3 times in 25-30 years where I did not take a flu shot. But when I was young and took it yearly, I caught the flu every year and sometimes 2 times like you mention

I’ll get a tetanus and steroid shot as needed. Everything else is frickery

44 years old and do not remember taking a flu shot my entire life.

Never had one in my life

I can't see myself ever taking another vaccine of any kind. I used to believe the U.S. government cared about it citizens and tried their best to protect them. I do not believe that anymore. #frickthepowersthatbe

Not likely.

I usually get it every year, but if they start doing mRNA flu shots, I won't take those. Then again I'm old.
I recall an interesting fact about the Spanish flu. A lot of old people didn't get it or had very mild cases because they had had a similar flu in the late 1800's. Some of that immunity can evidently last a very long time.
The 1969 flu nearly put me down back when I was young.

I took a flu shot once, 30+ years ago but never again. I have had the flu 1 time since.
I do know 2 people that were hospitalized, in ICU from taking a flu shot.

Why take something then? What have you taken that has saved your life?
A sinus infection makes me feel like I'm dying.
I used to go to minute clinic, but now they tell me those are covid symptoms and they won't see me unless I buy the covid test.
So I self-treat with an OTC nasal steroid and nyquil or theraflu.

This, can’t trust that they are not just giving you a mRNA booster and calling it a Flu shot— can’t trust anything anymore.

Never had the flu shot. Never had the flu.

Newsflash: You’re dying.
Good news: It’s a slow process unless you die from something else.

To me the flu shot has a history and all so I’m not concerned a ton about it. In the past it was take it or leave it and when I had a brush with the flu then got severe pneumonia and bronchitis from it, I told myself I needed to take the flu shot moving forward. Circa 2022 I feel skeptical of taking one now. My concern isn’t about the flu shot as much as it concerned I might “accidentally” get a Covid shot.
