No they cant. My employer would like for us all to get the vaccine but even he admitted that he cannot force any of his employees to get it.

I sent an email requesting a religious exemption.

The reply was that I needed to handwrite an explanation of my beliefs. I regret not speaking to an attorney first.

I think the flip flopping by the "scientists" on these experimental shots is an interesting twist for those who would make it mandatory.

I can hear it now, "well that's all been cleared up." Yeah, and the week before the J and J was suspended you all were acting like it was foolish to question the vaccines - just like you are doing now.

It should remain a personal decision and people should be allowed to weigh the risks versus the reward. If you have been vaccinated and you believe it is so damn good you should have no problem being around those who have not.

No one gives a shite about what’s legal and what’s not anymore.

Not government officials, not courts, not companies, not people.

The anti-American activists on the Supreme Court will rubber stamp whatever laws the globalist uniparty in DC passes and no one will challenge the corporate overlords. And the paid for subjects of the ruling class will cheer whatever their gracious masters tell them to.

It’s amazing that the media and government were able to use a virus with a 99.99% survival rate to wreck the world and we are collectively celebrating the destruction.

It depresses and pains me to think that my son will one day have to fight and suffer because of the damage I failed at preventing. It should depress anyone with a functioning brain.

I quit.

The thing that sucks is that I was relatively okay getting the traditional J&J vaccine without the mRNA. Now that’s off the table and so I honestly don’t want to get a vaccine.

Our company sent an email encouraging everyone together vaccinated and managers are supposed to allow their teams some work hours to get the vaccine. Pretty harmless.

But then the email said to remember to register that you’re vaccinated afterwards and provided a link.

Get one of the online attorney sites like legalzoom or something to issue a form letter stating "my client has advised us of your request for private personal data regarding his protected right to religious beliefs. Be advised, my client is under no obligation to be discriminated against in this manner."

It's the one I opted to take. If I was not around vulnerable/scared family members on a near daily basis I would have been completely comfortable passing on the vaccine and relying on my own immune system.

Too late. I already hand delivered to HR on Monday. I'm still awaiting the reply. I took vacation the rest of this week, and I'm not going back until I get a response.

They went around and asked who has had the vaccine, is willing to, or will not get it. I'm assuming they used that information to see how many people they would lose.

That's the funny part. We all work remotely, the only hourly type people I can even think of would be customer service and reception? I can take a long lunch whenever I want, and I can take Teams calls from my phone, wherever I am. PTO is such a silly concept right now.

I have never worked anywhere that actually logged it like this place does. We have to get PTO approved and post to our team calendar. People literally post shiat like, "taking daughter to doctor at 3pm."

WHYYY? Take your phone, answer emails, and take a call. No one will even know or care.

No way. We are a small business, only about 40-50 employees.

Remember, even if they “require” and you comply, they can still fire you tomorrow. If you are concerned about this vaccine or it violates your values, a job isn’t a reason to give up.

If my employer is truly willing to let me go for a fricking shot, then well, bye.

Somewhat related to this is that if an employer requires employees to get a vaccine and the employee becomes ill, has complications or dies as a result of the vaccine, it could be considered a compensable claim under work comp. That’s how it works for most states including LA and part of why my employer is not mandating it.

I don't remember a required vaccination record when I was hired, I doubt they would require this "vaccine" now.

They are offering a 100$ credit to my HSA account if I take it but, I also see is as a way to track it.

Well I’ve heard different that’s all that I’m saying. I don’t think companies should be allowed to force that on anyone but like I said I’ve just heard legally that they can. I’m sure it’s a very complex issue.

We will not require vaccines, but will accommodate anyone that wants to get one. They can take the day off paid if they want to get it (for both shots), and days after they need to use their PTO and it will count as a scheduled PTO (as opposed to unscheduled which could result in disciplinary action).

So far, I believe 75% of the staff has gotten at least 1 shot. Those that have not, have no plans to get the vaccine.

Had a continue education seminar where they advised that if you are requiring it, the company will need to tread lightly as soon as someone says they have a religious/medical exemption. Basically, you should stop there and take their word for it without asking any further questions.
