I’ll quote Gandalf. “You cannot offer me this Ring!" ... Understand Frodo, I would use this Ring from a desire to do good. But through me, it would wield a power too great and terrible to imagine“.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The framers knew this. And even if we had one awesome prez that respected the office, the precedent that is set and others that would follow would turn it in to a dictatorship. Plus anyone that would ignore the 2 term limit, would likely ignore a lot more.

Absolutely not.

What if it meant that anyone else would bring this country to it's knees?

No. Three term presidents are too close to tyrants.

They can only do so much damage in 4 years with two other co-equal branches controlling the other 2/3 of the gov.

NO!!!!

We do not have dictators and as much as this Board and I bitch about Dims and their socialist/communist views we cannot succumb to their ideals. For any true Rep to want this goes against all that we bitch about with the Dims trying to subvert the Constitution. I like how DJT gets down in the mud and fights them but we cannot ignore the one document that keeps us who we are because the Dims are pieces of shart.

Apparently not.

The Constitution had no limit on how many times a person could be elected as president.

The Amendment only was created for FDR,150 years after the Nations founding.

You damned right I would

His FIRST term has been stolen from him by the DEMOCRAT/Media cabal - so he should be allowed to have TWO FULL TERMs as a consequence.

That's what my heart says - but my head says that this would be a bad precedent.

RATHER - I would like to see EVERYONE involved with the Russia HOAX and the Impeachment HOAX be impeached, convicted, removed, and denied any future job of benefit or honor from the USA.

Plus - some criminal charges should result for the conspirators who pressed these hoaxes into governmental action, like "special counsel" and "impeachment' - these acts of sedition need to be punished to the full extent of the law.

Honestly his first term has been almost robbed from him...or robbed from us. Him getting a "third" would actually just be finally getting the second term.

I'm not for a third term but this is a solid argument for one

No and I wish term limits would also apply to Congress and I do not believe a Justice should serve past the age of 80.

No and I’m a big Trump supporter.

I’d support Don Jr. or Cruz to carry on the legacy though.
