I'm not sure. I'll check the schedule.

I see nothing on the schedule, so I'm assuming no.

Goal (I know) has said we've opened talks with Schneiderlin, and linked to an old story that we may try for Dejan Lovren as well.

I'm not too worried about the transfer window this year. Must be what it feels like to be a Chelsea or Man city fan. All indications are Arsene knows exactly what positions he wants and has 4-5 targets for each and is willing to pay, within reason i.e. khedira, to get them. It's fun to read all the rumors and whatnot while being confident that the business will get done in the end

Just got my new Arsenal home jersey! Third Coast Soccer didn't have the names/numbers in yet but I paid for a Ramsey.

do they have HDMI cords? don't know their setup, but they could easily hook that shite up and stream from arsenal player.

this needs to be the season i go to Finn's for a match. maybe i can swing something...

i'm starting to believe that the MF we sign isn't anyone we're currently linked to yet (frequently, i should say. people throw out every name available so not SK, MS, or LB). i don't know why i think that. probably no reason to.

gibbs' agent was on twitter yesterday saying that there's one more big signing that's happening and then filling out the rest of the squad. said agents and their clients are a lot more interested in arsenal now.

I think we end up with Schneiderlin. He plays the most similar to Arteta so he'll pair well with ramsey. But he's more athletic so he can cover for Per. Southampton will want a decent fee but being only 24 his wage demands wouldn't be that high and we'd have him locked up through his prime. Not to mention he's French, feel like Wenger might go back to the old standby

i kinda wish illaramendi was available, but that won't happen. i think he'd fit as a mikel replacement better, but it seems arsene isn't looking for that type of player in the market.

i'd be pleased with either MS or LB. would be pleased with SK too. but i'm still predicting our big MF signing won't be one of those three.

From what I can tell, Bender looks to have a little more burst and physicality to him, while Schneiderlin is a better passer/reader of the game.

so is jenks going out on loan? kinda weird. to even bring him in at that age, we must be considering sending jenks out.

He needs games, but at the same time we would lose a squad place if Jenkinson went out on loan and we didn't replace him with someone who counted as a homegrown player.
