Yeah Man U looked like shite. They have a bunch of good players but they just aren't incisive and don't seem to fit well time together

But just like last season they find points somehow. Whether it's own goals or 80+ minute scores it works out for them. Sadly

Both Jon Toral and Chuba Akpom scored on their debuts for Birmingham City and Hull City respectively; Akpoms first competitive senior goal.

I thought Tottenham were much, much better. If Bentaleb doesn't give away that ball in midfield, they get something from the match.

We'd get more for him in England.

But I think it'd be foolish to sell him.

What? They looked pretty mediocre. They didn't even have a shot on goal until 20 minutes into the 2nd half.

That first half reminded me of so many first halves last season--a lot of missed opportunities and a thug team rewarded with a goal off a mistake.

We're playing with a sense of purpose in the box, though. No real unneeded extra passes.

I think we come back and win this.

Cech is obviously a Mourinho plant designed to destroy us from within.

Yeah, go get Benzema. Giroud is a lot of things. He is not clinical.

I don't know wtf happened on that second goal. Mistake by Petr, sure, but looked like some defenders were asleep.

The first goal--well, those things happen. That header could have gone in if Petr had stayed back.

Giroud has GOT to start putting those chances away.

I hope like hell we get Benzema.

Giroud is not the answer as number one 9 throughout the season for a PL-winning side.

Only good thing about today--still 37 more matches to go.

I'm ripping Tim Stillman off here, but I don't like the balance of Debuchy and Monreal. We need one fullback to push on. Gibbs and Bellerin are the two that give us that.

I also don't like the Coquelin-Ramsey balance in central midfield either. Neither is tidy or incisive enough with the pass. Has to be Coq-Cazorla or Ramsey-Arteta. Can't really mix and match the two.

Ozil has got to start driving the ball forward more himself. He's too willing to one touch. He was at his best at Madrid when he was penetrative with the dribble.

Not too worried. We lost the opener in 13-14 and ended up top of the table for quite a long time. We will be fine.

Midfield was extremely sharp, finishing was terrible as usual.

This kind of took a lot of wind out of our sails, oh well. And we are just not getting Benzema.

Like Stewie said, the opening Villa game from a few seasons back let's me know it's not the end of the world. I love Ozil but for once I want him to step up and completely dominate a game and dictate its tempo.
