Just got an alert on my phone that Cavani is set to fly to Arsenal for a physical in the next few days.

That's from the same magazine that said Neymar was holding talks with Man United

you do know real has to sell him right? we got ozil because they got bale. meaning real would have to go out and find a striker. that's how these things work. the market for strikers is not very good.

guys like henry and rvp weren't world class when bought and weren't even center forwards.

I know it is early to start throwing out cliches like "must win" but the Liverpool game could be considered a very crucial game. We get to test ourselves against one of the top 4-5 teams in the league at home and we need the points as we have already dropped the season opener. I just hope the players are raring to go and also play like this game means something. A win here and we could start to gain confidence needed for the Chelsea encounter in a couple of weeks. I believe we can do it. COYG

On one hand the competition for a CL place looks meager at best, which is good news. On the other hand it looks like it's going to take 90 points or more to top City

City will come back to the pack. The quality of the midtable this year is too strong for someone to run away with this thing, I think. That said, we need to keep pace or we'll have a Chelsea situation like last year.

Sorry, the French have an inflated sense of themselves AND their English abilities.

Fair play to him.

So no kosc or per on the bench and chambers is becoming a clear problem

Frustrating point, but probably fair. They had the better first half, we had the better second. Neither team took its chances, though Cech had something to do with that. Good to see him in form.

Our inability to score is troubling. Walcott offered nothing when he came on. Giroud is just a bit lacking.

Hard to see how you leave Ox on the bench moving forward.

If we keep playing like this we are not championship contenders. I know we had a patchwork defense but it was abysmal. Plus, no one shoots, and when we do shoot we can't score. Ox was fantastic as always. I really wish we could figure out a way to get him into the starting lineup.

I wonder if we could play Alexis through the middle and start Ox. To be fair, Ox has been better than Alexis so far this season.

It's hard to drop Coq after a performance like that. He played incredibly well. Chambers was god awful. No clue what he was doing.

Maybe drop Santi, but he combines so well with everyone. We need a player who is like Santi and Coq combined, and there are not that many of those types of players in the world.
