Was doing a high school soccer game at Holtville when a kid broke his leg. Had to wait about 30 minutes for an ambulance to get there.

All these broadcasters are gross, man. There's no reason to not cut to the studio. Why are you finding his wife and showing her like that.
Media are fricking scum and always have been, nobody needed to see that shite and she doesn’t need her pain broadcast to the world.

Amazing all those people still in the stadium.

that is correct. crazy how many times he's changed teams which requires a physical and wouldn't have been caught tho.

Had the same situation in a club match.

Derek Rae handled that about as professionally as humanly possible

I mean what do you do if you’re in the stands there?

Jesus Christ I just got back from Costco and saw this
Massive prayers for Eriksen and his family. He was at Tottenham for like 7 years this is incredibly sad

I don't know what ESPN could do. Contractually, they may not have been able to go to the studio. UEFA controls all of the video feeds.

That whole sequence was incredibly unsettling. I watched the Fabrice Muamba game too and certainly hoped to never see it again

Efan Ekoku was saying we don’t need to see this too

I am pretty sure I'd still be there. Hoping for some news before I left.
Of course, I am sure all of them are in shock to some degree.

This at least seems like a good sign...

Saw a tweet in Spanish from a Bundesliga reporter saying a Kicker reporter said he saw a thumbs up from a doctor. Not good to speculate but looking for any hope.

Awesome to see that he’s conscious
