Why should we care about results in friendlies, again?

A team currently ranked 75th in the FIFA rankings, who we later lost to on home soil as part of the program's worst ever finish in a Gold Cup.

1 win 3 loses and a draw vs our biggest rival in games that were not "friendlies". He must go!

I believe we've only lost to Mexico twice under Jurgy.

CONCACAF Cup and last Friday, unless I'm forgetting one.

I stand corrected.... Was counting the Gold Cup that got BB fired... So we get a win every four time we play Mexico...

Yeah, before the CONCACAF Cup last year, the one thing Jurgen legitimately deserved praise for was that he didn't lose to Mexico. Had a 3-0-2 overall record against them, including a 0-0 draw in the Azteca during the last Hex which was huge.

Yeah but when the games counted he is 1-2-1. He had to be told by his captain and a senior player that we needed to get out of the 3-5-2. Klinsmann has got to go!

US Soccer will always have its class ceiling know as pay to pay preventing change.

The USSF gets a cut of that money so they see no need for change.

Paul Carr @PCarrESPN
now
This is the third year in which the #USMNT lost multiple competitive games by four goals.

The other two: 1949 and 1957.

Maybe there is no "next level" to be taken to. Maybe "scrappy overachievers" really is as good as it gets!
