We should crush them on a normal field. This just gums things up for them, and endangers player safety.

The incompetence of the usmnt front office is impressive. Whoever scheduled this should be fired immediately

I can't believe I didn't realize until today that we scheduled a game in Minnesota in February. I get trying to get some advantage, but that's insane.

The USSF is stupid beyond belief.

These will be dangerous conditions, and they are going to regret the decision.

Wonder how many of the March call-ups will go to voicemail.

Walker Zimmerman scoffs at the thought of wearing a longsleeve undershirt in weather that warm.

Travel. Canada putting their home match on the East coast gave the US limited locations to reduce travel as much as possible.

Having the majority of the team fly from Europe to the West Coast for El Slavador, then to the East Coast to play in Hamilton, and then back to the West Coast for Honduras was just impractical. Not to mention the toll it could take out on the players.

Could still walk down the street and play inside in the Vikings stadium.

Nashville is closer to Hamilton than Minneapolis is. It's going to be 50 in Nashville tomorrow.

What are the chances they cancel this or the match starts and the ref decides it’s simply too dangerous to continue?

There is no international window when this can be made up. What happens if this game is canceled?

USSF is ridiculous.

The USYS doesn't say you need to cancel activities until the windchill is below 0 (if it is dry), so I doubt it will have any impact on if the game will be played for adults.

Personally, I'd much prefer to play in this weather than if it was 100F and humid.

Have you spent much time in this type of weather?

I grew up and played in STL so I saw both ends of the spectrum (not that it would regularly get to this extreme) and have now lived and coached in Chicago for the last 13 years.
