Salty about what?
I am rooting against England. Other than that, I don't care about any other country

I find it funny that a former Motherwell midfielder and an assistant manager who played for St. Mirren are now in the WC semis.

Bobby is really good in tournament settings. He’s a man manager who encourages the players to play freely (ie attack). Won the FA Cup with Wigan, got Everton to the last 16 of EurGOATpa. Even in his last year at Everton where they were leaking goals they got to the league cup semis and should have beaten city. Over the course of a league season though, I think we know what he is. I do wish his last 2 years at Everton would’ve gone better because i love his pressers.

Belgium was/is a very complicated hornet's nest. The fact that he's salved that alone, merits great praise.
Ah, hell of shift put in by sideshow Bob, eh?

Who do you guys think will replace Meunier in the semis?

You do know that Brazil almost had like 4 goals today right?
You gotta love luck/lack of focus

He led Wigan to an FA cup win and finally got this Belgium team to start clicking. Only one loss since he took over. I said he’s a good coach, not an exceptional one. Like any coach he has his weaknesses but yeah I think he’s shown that he can put together a solid team.

Hard to call a strategy garbage when it gets you past Brazil in a knockout round of the World Cup.

Should have brought on Dembele

And England shouldn't have let Hendo take a penalty. Both teams got through. End of.

He was on my list of guys I wanted to replace Wenger with. Especially if Arsene had just stepped down after winning the fa cup.
Everton didn't progress and he was sacked. After Belgium hired him, never heard much about him again. I had even forgot he was their coach until the cup started.

He finishes second, wins the Euro, he's then coaching Spain.

It still amazes me that we have anyone on this board, that's not even a Liverpool fan, so dedicated to hating on Everton
