Sure, if we can put it on auto qualifying and not 4th place playoff.

Yedlin has been kind of arse lately with Miami, but he has the experience in WCQ to hold that position against Panama and CR. But that 11 is miles better than anything those two sides are bringing out.

The injuries make it harder, but it was simply be inexcusable to not come away with 5 points in this window even with the injuries.

Nope, it's pass/fail

ETA: I think we finish top 3 before even going to Costa Rica, but why the frick would I pay you $100 if they qualify, if my stance is that they qualify?

Because my comment is they are in trouble given the injuries. They are in trouble if they have to go to Qatar and beat New Zealand in a winner take all match. It should not have to come to that, but I think it will. I don’t necessarily think they can’t hang on for 4th.

I love how a lot of people at the beginning of this qualifying campaign thought we'd walk this group. You can always tell who just started following the sport not knowing the shithousery of Concacaf.

With that said, if we had a good manager it would be done and dusted already but.......

I mean, anyone who thought that was an idiot, especially with more teams involved.

Canada hasn't lost a match yet, and all they've clinched so far heading into the final window is the intercontinental playoff.

I hate to even say it, but there could be a perfect storm brewing in Orlando. The pressure to win that match will be immense, Panama is no slouch (much better than T&T), and who knows what options we’ll have after injuries, illnesses, and suspensions from Azteca. I think we can still take a point in Costa Rica, if we need it, but I just do not trust Greggg to not frick this up!

This is such a fallacy of an argument. Panama in 2017 was much better than T&T then and we boatraced them in Orlando in a match we had to win, only to lose at T&T three days later.

The fatalism on this board is hilarious. Yeah, we lost McKennie and Dest, but we also gained Gio and a finally healthy Pulisic.

Got damn right. I know the injuries have some worried but I’m fairly confident I’m also going to be celebrating in Orlando as well. We still have some much quality compared to Panama.

This is going to be the most intense week of US soccer. Any idea what channels are covering the games? Please don’t say Paramount +

The Mexico match will be on both CBS Sports Network and Paramount+, the Panama match with be on FS1 and the Costa Rica match, as of now, is only on Paramount+ but could possible be on CBS Sports Network as well.

The Mexico match will also be on Univision as a spanish option if you don't get CBS Sports Network.

Definitely watching on Univision. Jesús Bracamontes is a really good co-commentator. Hopefully Perro Bermúdez is the PBP as Pablo Ramirez is garbage.

This is the kind of stuff I’m talking about, and how you wind up playing a critical WCQ match with Nipples on the wing. Hell, Yedlin is the only player on the roster with more than 50 caps! Pucker factor way too high. Canada’s emergence, Panama & CRC’s refusal to go away will make this way more interesting than it should be!

What are you talking about?

Also, FWIW, the team that lost in T&T had Bradley, Altidore, Dempsey and a bunch of other World Cup vets.

Experience didn't help there.
